i can't get over how shitty this was. i've been replaying new vegas recently just to see if it was merely nostalgia goggles, but no - this game sucks to high heaven.

>consequently no sense that your actions have any significance

boreal dancers grab is utter bullshit. It would grab me even when i wasnt near her hand. Additionally all the people I summoned to help apparently thought they were being summoned to fight vordt and were no help at all
cant beat pic related. Honestly wtf. Cant even get him below 80% just swinging at his legs nonstop. I only assume at some point he falls down or something so I can actually do damage? Or maybe he has some weak spot I cant find. And summoning help is kind of out of the question for me.

In Halo 2, in the room in High Charity where there's a pair of large lifts (Also the room where Arbiter was tortured I think, there's a chandelier hanging overhead.
The chandelier displays a bunch of large shards of glass, each taken from every planet the covenant has ever glassed.

Oh, well then you want to go Royal Guard. It's a great emergency damage mitigater, and can dole out serious damage when fully charged. Invest in Stinger (your dash skill) for closing distances quickly. And double jump helps a hell of a lot too.

I try but mostly always fail, getting the host to near death isn't that hard but it's almost impossible to finish him off before he uses one of the gorillion estus while safely hiding behind 2 other guys that will mercilessly chain attack you if you pursue the low health host
