Why
Well, I was officially fired from my part time job today. After finals next week I'll have 3 weeks to do whatever I want until my internship with the USDA/summer classes start. What video games should I play to pass the time and enjoy life while I can? I have a 3DS and an Xbox 360 and the last game I had the chance to play was A Link Between Worlds.

I worked at a Meijer 6-midnight shifts most nights. Since it was just me and one other chill guy up front for most of the night, I would steal a lot of expensive stuff. I would just take things from electronics, unlock them up front before my shift ended, and walk out the employee entrance with them. I did this over a period of about 6 months. I guess I'm lucky they aren't pursuing any action beyond calling me and telling me I'm fired.

Both are really good. I'm a big fan of Mecha though so I would rank Xenogears higher than FF7.

If you're going to try to be objective about FF7, it's just a more solid game, the RPG doesn't completely fall apart half way through, it has a higher budget and with that came a lot more polish.
Xenogears is a more interesting game, and the combat system is more unique and engaging, the setting and the giant robots are great, it just has more going on than FF7 and in that way I can totally understand liking it more, hell I like Xenogears a hell of a lot more than I like FF7 but you have to take into account the game's glaring flaws. Xenogears has really shitty game balance and like most of the party members being shit because of a low agility stat, that second disc where the game becomes a VN, or that insanely high encounter rate.

i don't see what the point of skyrim's "puzzles" were when all they did was use the same principle for all of em

I assume you're playing Dark Mode right.
Go swordsmanship tree if it is your first time playing.
Pick parry, it is useful only for humanoids though and later on in the game.
Pick the skill that reduces the damage you take when hit from behind and also the one that extends your roll.
Also buy and read tomes about monsters you have to fight to increasr your proficiency against them and also to make them drop more stuff. Farm for the dark mode armor to make it ez mode.

Dwarf Fortress, any pre-2004 roguelike, classic grand strategy games...all much more autismal than Factorio or Minecraft.
Factorio and Minecraft are formative games for young autists so they make a big impression, but there's much more abstruse shit out there.
