These two games make everything released these days looked like shit. The little touches and secrets, the ambitious storylines, the enjoyable core gameplay, the boss fights, the distinctive atmospheres: All of today's big budget games look like soulless shit in comparison.

1) How do I start playing Dota/Dota 2?
Apparently dota 2 has some kind of tutorial where you learn everything and bot matches where you can play alongside other people against bots. There's also custom games like overthrow where you get gold easily and can try out some heroes, and since it's only custom games nobody really gets mad at you for fucking up their game.
