A few years ago my father had a stroke and I drowned my sorrows in KOTOR 1, it's been one of my favorite games since high school and I replay it once a year anyway, and it really helped me forget my troubles and get immersed into the world.For a brief moment I was no longer a grieving son, I was a suave space smuggler turned Jedi. Damn that was a good playthrough.

Is it important that games have a one word, often compaound, title? I just realized how common this is at least for f2p generic games: paladins, overwatch, battleborn, gigantic, warframe, deadbreed, smite, planetside, wildstar, firefall, strife, warmode, etc

Does PS4 Remote Play work with less latency on a Vita or an Xperia?
Assume high end 5GHz ac capable router and ideal conditions. PS4 wired to router, streaming within the router's LAN.
Vita comes with perfectly designed physical buttons and decent battery life, it was pretty much converted to become PS4s companion accessory and will also play other games some of which are available on both PS4 and Vita.
If you have a decent router then I think the Vita is better. I have an Xperia phone too and I only used the streaming function twice, once for sake of curiosity and the other time was to download some shit.

I already have an Xperia Z2 with a GCM10. I don't have a PS4 yet, but latency is very important to me.
Unfortunately last time I tried with a friend's PS4 I had to use an unofficial remote play port since my phone is using CM12. It worked like shit despite remotr play working perfect between my PC and my laptop.
So I don't know if I should get a Vita or just wait until I eventually need a newer phone.

Vita will play 60fps smoothly if you have a decent router.
Just don't expect to play games that require frame perfect input like 2D fighters because with these no streaming technology will be good enough. MGS V, DMC 4 SE and even Call of Duty play fine with a Vita. I haven't noticed any "latency" on these.
People say that Nintendo can never get third party support again, no matter what they do. It's actually quite simple: using fucking x86 technology, like everyone else.
The NX can be two times as more powerful as the PS4K, but it means jack shit if devs can't easily make and port games over to it.
The N64 was technically more powerful than the PS1. Yamauchi made it use cartridges, while the PS1 used easy to use CDs. The N64 carts were also unnecessarily hard to develop for, for "quality control"
The GC was technically more powerful than the PS1 and Xbox. But guess what? PS1 and Xbox used similar architecture and DVDs, allowing for easier porting. GC used mini-disks.
New consoles are using x86. Devs want accessibility. NX can have another touchcreen controller again for fucks sake, but as long as it has x86, it means nothing.
Yeah, but if the controls are another shitty gimmick no is going to develop for it outside of launch unless it's something incredibly casual like the Wii.

It's no secret today's Nintendo looks an awful lot like late 90s Sega. But what would nintendo as a third party dev look like? I haven't bought a nintendo home console since the gamecube, but I always see 3 or so games that I want on nintendo's consoles I know I can never play. I think if the NX fails they would probably have a lucrative future releasing third party titles on Sony's or Microsoft's hardware.
That being said, I loved the DS and 3DS and hope they can keep control of the handheld market, although them making inroads into mobile """"""""gaming""""""" has me worried.

decent dungeon but playing the same song 50 times just to solve simple puzzles or backtrack through some rooms isn't very fun
