Why does Rondo of Blood suck so hard anons?
I was trying to play all the Castlevania games between Super Castlvania IV and Sympony of the night (which is what I want to play) and I ended up with this game.
So far, the fight have sucked (on stage 3 right now) and the controls are severely limiting. I don't know how the fuck you can go from being able to attack in 8 directions to only being able to attack in two and on top of that, the secondary items suck harder as well.
How can someone fuck up this bad? I'm really tempted to just skip the Symphony of the Night.

I started to recommend the older Castlevanias, but then I read your complaints against Rondo and realized you're just a twat or baiting.
The controls are intentionally limited. It's done so that movements and attacks made against enemies require deliberation. RoB has its issues (I personally think the level design is just frequently boring), but its controls aren't among them.
SotN only lets you attack in 2 directions. lul

Anyone like tactical shooters? I recently started playing SWAT 4 and love it. Planning on playing 3 along with the Rainbow Six series soon too.
For SWAT 4 someone made a new server browser since Gamespy's went down if anyone has been wanting to play the multiplayer some more.

Also I've always wondered, why do some of the old ones (like SWAT 3) not have a gun model for your character? Is it just to free up screen space to see better?

Whilst I used to play PC a bit during the period between Sega CD and the end of the PS1, I've been a console games since. Now starting to get back into PC games so recommend me some that I might have missed. Only had Sony consoles so any Xbox games that are on PC would also apply.
In to most things (VNs, JRPG, WRPG, action-y games, physics puzzlers, etc.) but am shit with FPS on PCs. Steam preferable as can't be fucked with messing around with other stores. GPU isn't great but can play most things, Overwatch included. Bought a few things during the steam sales but probably missed out on some good shit.
So let me know your best games.
