Nope, tmp being bad is the meme, not the other way around. Its weak and inaccurate initially so many ignore it but when you get the stock, its on par with handgun accuracy. Unupgraded, a single bullet allows for stuns that allows for cqc follow ups at a fraction of the ammo compared to handguns. Upgrading damage is damn good since its damage output when spraying is great for bosses, plus all that free ammo when upgrading that huge magazine. Hugely multipurpose gun that is able to break the game when you give it some attention
