I feel like the series completely went to shit after 358/2 Days, which was arguably its peak in both gameplay and story.
I'm not holding out much hope for this game to be good.

Fuck you, BBS was the best in the series. DDD was shit, but don't think that press triangle to win was better than the best game.
It looks like it'll be fun as fuck, if it's as fun as 2FM than that's great, but BBS and DDD were both excellent so I'd settle for that.

Well, both are long running series, however Battlefield has decided to take a glorified look at the past, whilst Call of Duty has elected to take a speculative look into the future. I personally like science fiction more than history, but both look like fun games. However I haven't ever bought into either franchises, and I don't plan to start now.

Usually no decent racial bonuses.
Beyond that, why wouldn't you play as something other than a human when you have the chance? You spend 24 hours a day as a human, why not spend a few being something else?

Dark Souls 3 Lore Thread. I've got questions.
1. Archdragon Peak is likely in the past. If you look in the distance you can see Anor Londo but you can't see Lothric built yet. So is it a dream sequence in the past or actually taking place? Havel and Ornstein's armor are there so I figure it takes place around the same time as DS 1, right?
2. If worship of angels was banned in Lothric then why are the angelic serpent statues still up as well as the crowned angel statues you can see right before heading up to the Twin Princes fight? Why didn't they dismantle this shit?
3. I'm not understanding Leonhardt's actions and motivations at all. Help me.
the problem with archdragon peak being a dream/state of meditation is when you die there do you ever wake up again? are the events from that point on fake?
