Post levels and i'll play them! i've got a couple of hours right now.
I just finished 1-4 on the mini campaign I'm working on. It's like it there was a Subspace mode for Smash 4 in SMB1 style. Levels are 8 Red coin hunts with different costumes from the roster (I hope to include them all). There's three costumes plus a secret costume in every level.

I actually do think that's pretty neat. But as of this screenshot, I'm not really seeing a "cultural flare" to Japanese pikeman yet.
They look pretty damn European to me.
How would the games industry be different if Sega were still making consoles today?

Nobody can say.
The Dreamcast was really ahead of it's time, I wonder what would've happened if they were still making consoles.
All I can say for sure is that we'd probably have a kickass controller since SEGA was always the best at making them.
We'd probably have more Japanese console games being made.
