>2016
>still no npcs
>still no new animations
>still the same sweater and slacks clothing for all characters and zombies
>still no cars
>or new map areas
>or actual hunting
>the crowbar still uses the baseball bat model
>they're doing minecraft tier metalworking literally nobody asked for instead of actual content
>instead of doing any of these things since they said they'd do them first they've done:
>some new curtains
>some fluff tv and radio shit
>the highlight of the latest update was being able to barricade either side of a window and a coop option that isn't even needed if you have the two brain cells needed to port forward
>you're literally not even allowed to mention npcs, cars, animations, or new map additions on their forums without the thread being locked
Is this a bigger waste of money than Starbound?
if you think this is bad, I remind you of cortex command
>>337598309
What happened to Cortex Command?
>falling for open world survival early access games
Never ever.

i love how /v/ rails against games that includes maymays but spends a great time beating maymays to death themselves.
>>337597602
>they work for the mercenary... the G-Man.
>>337597767
There's a difference between "memes" (ideas) and "epic maymays" (cancer).
The fact that you can't tell the difference speaks volumes.
does this game exist
>>337597192
yeah its Red dead redemption
>>337597229
wow I did not know that.
Why would it?
Houston is literally the most irrelevant "big" city in the world.
What went wrong?
Not just keeping the beta running up until launch. I miss it so much.

Why don't game developers release their games on all platforms, i mean, more platforms-more players-more sales.
why aren't they doing this? do they hate money?
It's part of the reason Mighty Number 9 is taking so dang long.
The builds can work, but there's something going on with the quality of the builds and how the multiplayer is going. Check Pirate bay for leaked builds.
>>337597014
Because that increases the development costs
Also because platforms usually offer them deals if they do exclusivity too, probably
Most do nowadays, what are you talking about?
The only exception is PC because execs still think everyone on PC just pirates, but most of them are starting to come around. Remember circa 2007 when devs would keep making shitty excuses for not porting to PC, like "our game was meant to be played on a comfy couch, with a controller in your hands", when really they meant "our publisher said no PC version because they're a bunch of criminal scum".
There's only a few non-first/second party games that are exclusive now because developing multiplat is so easy.
Just finished playing this in Spanish in order to help me learn, and I understood most of it. It helped me learn a lot of every day phrases and idioms that regular books don't teach.
I'm looking for other simple RPGs with a lot of text that can help teach other languages. Any recommendations?
pokemon gold?
play kof, it'll teach you spanish super fast
>>337596825
>It helped me learn a lot of every day phrases and idioms that regular books don't teach
Most of which will only apply to Spain. The Spanish version of all Gen I games is just the Spain localization.
Damn nigga this game was pretty good

So now that the dust has settled, it new Hitman a valid form of delivery or a greedy scheme to get as many shekels as possible out of you?
You are literally paying per mission.
It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
>>337596692
But every mission offers hours and hours of content.
>>337596348
>>337596692
but in the end does it work out cheaper or more expensive?
What happens when you get to the centre of the galaxy?

Your opinion on Metroid Fusion.
>>337596178
same as every metroid
into the trash
Just finished minutes ago,
to much hand holding for my taste
If you took the map design from zero mission and the controls from this you'd have a great metroid game.
What are the best weapon skills in DaS3?
Parry is obviously the best, but I would like to discuss the others, especially the unique ones.
>Stance and Hold
Super useful skills that really put the cherry on top an already strong group of weapons (straight swords, piercing swords, katanas)
>Crescent Blade/Sacred Light/Stance of Judgement/Unleash Dragon
The projectile attacks are great for adding a bit of range to your melee game, but all of them, except Sacred Light, have a slow wind-up making them useful for PvE only. The skill is fun though and I often forget about my melee attacks when zapping other players.
>Morne's Rage vs. Wrath of the Gods
Morne's Rage is surprisingly good for PvP. relatively quick activation and hyper-armor means it actually has a chance of hitting.
Wrath of the Gods is pure shit. Extremely long activation with no hyper-armor until the sword has been plunged into the ground and then an extra delay after that until the actual attack happens. It's not even useful for PvE.
>Ember and Profaned Flame
Ember has a pretty good AoE and although Profaned Flame doesn't seem to work the same as Stomp the attack is effective. The fire buff is great, but I would have preferred to have the option to apply my own buffs.
>Bloodlust vs. Oath of Sunlight vs. Warcry
Bloodlust is a disappointment, especially when compared to Warcry. Animation is long and causes self damage. The 30% boost to attack is nice, but not for the cost of activation. In comparison Warcry has less of a boost to attack, but its activation is faster and gives off a stunning AoE, doesn't cause self damage, and it adds a new moveset.
Oath of Sunlight is my favourite of the buffing weapon skills. Only adds a 10% boost to attack/defence, but the buff remains if you equip another weapon, not the case for Bloodlust or Warcry, and it doesn't overwrite other weapon buffs (does overwrite some non-weapon buffs).
What are everyones thoughts on weapons skills?
I love the shit out of perseverance. It lets you tank almost any hit without getting staggered and lets you unload several hits. it also only needs like 5 or 10 FP so you can use the shit out of it during a PvP match.
Twin princes greatsword has the best arts and aint anyone disputing me on that
>>337596195
I'm using the Lothric Holy sword right now and sacred light is fun. I have the option to upgrade to twin Princes, but I'm uncertain if it's worth it. Twin Princes has higher base dmg and has both prince skills, but it also has the much slower much set compare to a straight sword.
>this kills the franchise
>>337595691
Can't wait to try it on my tablet!
>game looks like a mobile port
>will still have fps issues
Can't wait for it to happen.
It looks fine.
Why aren't you playing the Toontown 2.0 prototype RIGHT NOW /v/?
I am, Toontown was always the perfect place to meet hot single middle schoolers in your area and this looks to be even better.
>>337595594
Wait, what? It got leaked?
>>337595594
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
Toontown motherfuckin 2 lets go
How did nobody tell me? why is this allowed?
When did they officially become the most reliable developer in vidya?
Witcher 2
They made like 3 games in the past decade, chill out.
What went wrong?
First 2 games were actually pretty good...
>>337595526
>First 2 games were actually pretty good
>he thinks resistance 2 is good
First game is total ass, don't know what you're talking about.
Resistance 2 was a generic shooter for its time, but moderately fun.
Resistance 3 was really fun, sadly by that time nobody cared about Resistance anymore.
Most generic shit I have ever played.
