Because it's true. I love what they did with the arts, the music, the more colorful graphics and whatnot.Though I hate that they removed the Dark Knight theme from every dark knight fact and that they removed the cartoonish damage animations with eyes popping out.
The skill system is a mess full of irrelevant skills, which a lot need to be leveled, but they level at such a retardly slow rate - like 0,2~0,3% when they need 100% to gain a level - that some are just outright useless since there's no point to their existence since you'll never level them unless you outright grind them. However, grinding such skills is a slow, painful experience compared to grinding in any other game, you have to do retarded shit like shield bash a cleric in a hole in the middle of a rainy plain while you use you slowly level your skills on her for hours.
The spell system is also shit. A clear example of quantity over quality, in the original you had 2~3 slots to equip spells, but in general they were a lot more unique and useful, and their range progressed with your Int. Heal Rain, Hasten, SlowMove, Stun, they all had their uses, even if poison was useless and Petrify was gold. They even created another two elements to bloat the thing even more with useless spells that are all the same except for the status ones that inherently makes certain elements better than others.
The remake added a fuckton of useless spells, made previously spells good, removed the AoE progression from stats for a spell tier system - while bounding the higher leveled ones to random drops in grindy as fuck dungeons that make Disgaea cry at the corner for being overtopped at its most famous feature.
The remake removed also removed elemental affinities and terrain bonuses, throwing positioning out of the window - one of the most important tactical elements from a tactical RPG.

I was able to use the platter glitch to get through the door of the blacksmiths house and under the map in riften. Well there seems to be a bunch of chests together underneath the outside market. I cannot get to them because of some barriers. Has anyone been here and able to get the chests?

I'm talking about the vanilla release, with its tiny disconnected areas, repetitive single-phase bossfights, visual downgade, nonsense story, gutted invasions, PVP dominated by players with the softcap in every stat and cheesy meme builds
The Crown DLC was a lot better. But that's not really relevant.

You see as much exaggerated hate as you see exaggerated love for the game. It totally dropped the ball with level design and boss fights. But it definitely had a few interesting ideas and its disappointing that DS3 didnt expand on most of them.

So, I'm sitting here trying to figure out how we got here.
With the Xbox brand I mean.
We're talking about America's venture into the console market. No small deal. Hell, if go into a gen 6 thread on /v/ or pretty much any other site, you'll see tons of people defending the original Xbox as one of the most underrated consoles of all time. Many now even claim it was the best console of gen 6, but that debate isn't the point of this post.
After the HEUG, you had the 360 which ushered in an era of Xbox domination over the market.
We could all point fingers at where things started to go wrong. But regardless of where we each think that is, does anyone here really think what they're trying to pull with this Windows 10 merger is smart?
If the recent screenshots and rumors are true, and they plan to release the majority of major 8th gen Xbox games on the Windows 10 store (Halo MCC, Sunset Overdrive, etc.) then do they really think the Xbox brand has a place in the console market anymore?
It's not like people are going to stop using Steam and its infinitely larger library base, but I know people will stop valuing the Xbox consoles if they have nothing of value they can't get on Windows 10.
See, to me, the only reason they would pull this move is if they were trying to s l only kill of the Xbox console division, but that makes no sense because 1, they're selling fine, and 2, we know they have a new Xbox planned.
But what do you guys think?

OP I think you underestimate how many people build or buy PCs for AAA gaming.
/v/ goes on and on about how if the game is on PC, it's worthless on console, but the majority doesn't see it that way.
They could release Halo 5 on PC right now and it wouldn't put a dent in the console sales.
