Nah, actually they're lower.
It's hard to compare since you can't really tell if any difference in sales is due to Denuvo or other factors, and it's also hard to pick a good comparison point since there's no way to tell how much any given game would have sold without Denuvo.
That said, compared to the top-selling non-Denuvo games, they definitely sell less.

how interested would you guys be if I start remaking for modern pcs old school and ancient arcade games?
I'm a 1MA and have skills in everything, from music to 2D/3D, writing in tacospeak and coding.

Why don't you create something original with your skills (unless you want to improve them further with a "test" game). I really don't see a reason to remake games that everyone already played.

I'm about to play this for the first time after playing all the Dark Souls.
Worth it? Any tips or recommendations?
It's much easier than the Souls series but you'll probably find it somewhat bland since it's a little more bare bones.
I still enjoy it.
Read up world tendency, I can't be arsed to explain it. Also remember that you have an item burden. Always drop your stuff at Thomas, when you go into a new level. Be wary when upgrading weapons, it's a bit more convoluted and complicated than the sequels.
Aside from that, it's your usual Souls game, and I my personal favorite. Enjoy.
