So this is the furthest I've ever gotten in mega man. Do people generally find this game hard or am I just not grasping the mechanics?
The first game is the hardest. It eases up on #2, for the US and PAL versions. The jappo version was kinda hard though.
There was no difficulty option in Japan. The one we got as the "difficult" setting, was in fact the games normal setting.

Mega Man 1 is probably the hardest of the NES games, if you are having trouble with it play 4 or 5 first, they are the easiest.
Casuals on /v/ will probably call it hard but it's a very easy game if you play stuff from the time period. You just haven't gotten into the flow of things yet. For one you started with two of the hardest robot masters in the game besides Fireman. Gutsman/Bombman are very good starting points.

Hi guys, I work in PR for Capcom and I just had some MonHun shit hit my desk so here's what I know:
>Is definitely Monster Hunter 5
>Planned launch title for NX and a New 3DS only title
>Shockingly coming out in America before Japan because the NX is too
>No G rank as expected
>Game features amiibo functionality: Couple of monster amiibos launching with game: New cover monster, Rathalos, Tigrex, etc. they all unlock unique quests in the guild, older amiibos like Link and Mario can be used to unlock quests for their gear too.
>Planned crossplay between New 3DS and NX, not really sure how that's meant to work but that's the bullet point I've got.
For those wondering, Nintendo has sent us Q4 for the NX release date so hopefully we'll get an official announcement of this game soon.

It's sad, but the only way we'll ever get MH on a half-acceptable rig again is on the NX.
I don't mind buying an NX for MH alone, usually get a solid 500-1k hours out of it.
I would kill for PS4. But I know that won't happen.
MonHun is the only thing that'd make me consider getting the NX, whatever it is, at this point. But with Generations coming out in July, I can't see it being so soon. Though multiple teams are a thing, I guess.

OP here, Generations is just being worked on by the translation team now, as far as I know there were only a handful of active coders needed for the translation. From what I know MonHun 5 has been in development since the day Cross went gold.

Because I played it for about 6 hours one day, then got very bored and uninstalled it.
Because when i play an arpg i want to kill stuff for loot to equip so i can kill more stuff for more loot to equip.
PoE doesn't have that, the only thing you do is sell loot you drop and equip loot you buy.
The endgame is literally trading instead of playing the game, and that's bonkers.
Also mmo tier daily quests, fuck off with that shit.
