It's basically Sen no Kiseki, but not retarded.
To explain in detail, imagine Persona meets Front Mission, during the school days you'll have to talk with different characters, go to class, etc.. But there are also missions you must clear in some points of the game with mechas, because the earth is under attack by an alien race. The mechas are customizable, changing weapons, etc. The relationships with the different characters in school will also affect their performance in the battlefield.

Having used it it's nowhere near as bad as it looks. As heavy as the original 360 controllers and as poor battery life as DS4 controllers, but perfectly serviceable and surprisingly ergonomic.
And it's actually a great controller aside from its terrible battery power, not being able to connect it to the Wii U's USB slot, and not being able to turn it off like you can with the PS3 and 360 controllers (what the fuck Nintendo?).
Shame it never got used to its full potential.
