How the fuck do you beat him solo /v/? The attack where he dissappears for a few seconds to the ceiling seems almost impossible to dodge.
When he jumps up to the ceiling I start counting 1...2...3 and dodge on 4. Works every time.

I don't know, I just did. I didn't have much trouble with Ludwig except in his first form, but there was always enough time to use a Blood Vial if I got hit. I used the Hunter's Cane's transformed mode with Fire Paper the whole fight.
Who's the tasteless pretentious fuckwit that thought having you walk (albeit automatically) through an unskippable scene while a narrator spoke, seemingly endlessly & between every pseudo/boss fight?
They put those there to stretch the game length and make it last over 2 hours so Steamfags won't be able to refund it

It's a cool down period my dude. These fights get pretty intense and it's nice to have a bit of a reprieve. Also the music is chill, they add a lot of atmosphere and story bites if you care about that stuff which a lot of people do

It's to get some story and chill out for a minute between the fights.
They aren't very long, if you care so little about the story that you can't stand it then just press dash and go afk for a few minutes.
I don't spend much time on /v/, but how the hell is this guy not public enemy no.1 around here?! I'm talking about the guy on the left, Bill Trinen. His little rainbow ribbon says it all. This guy basically ruined Nintendo. If you look at a timeline of where/how he has been involved over the years, it is painfully obvious how he has slowly but surely turned the great stuff coming out of Kyoto into mass-market PC bullshit. If you know Japanese and ever watch him translate for Mitamoto, you'll see how he turns everything into reddit-esque crap. This guy is responsible for many many cancellations of great titles because he just insisted that it 'wasn't marketable' for western audiences. Look at his twitter, it's like the front page or reddit @trintran . Nintendo would be in a much better position right now, and a real savior of gaming right now if it wasn't for this faggy typical north-westerner. He has waaaay too much power as a gatekeeper at Nintendo.

Is there any game that would benefit from a higher resolution more than RDR? It's almost painful.
You would prefer to cut your eyes instead? All textures, assets, LOD's and streaming transitions were made and optimized for 720p resolution in this game. Bumping up the resolution will result in perfectly fine picture completely falling apart.

Favorite strategy game ever
DoW was a great introduction to the 40k verse. However DoW2 was my ideal depiction of the 40k universe.
When I first got the game I quite hated it because it was so different to the first game. I stopped playing it and thought it was shit for a year or two. Eventually I decided to go back and try get into multiplayer. I got shat on so often I actually created an account on the Relic forums. From there I slowly learnt about the games mechanics and got better. I used to play 2v2/3v3 all the time and had a fucking blast.
Now I just play Last Stand constantly, I dont know why I find it so fun. Every hero level 20 with the most OP builds I can come up with.
DoW2 definitely has its problems but it was the perfect 40k game for me.
