What's your all time favorite opening to a video game?
For me, it has to be the one to Metal Gear Solid 2. Directed by Kyle Cooper, this cut coupled with an orchestrated version of the MGS themein before plagiarismreally pulls me into the scifi action atmosphere of the game and gets me really pumped up to play it. In fact, everytime I play the game, I have to watch the intro. Kyle Cooper himself is notorious for directing many title cards such as the one for Se7en and Mission:Impossible (the latter of which is probably why he got Kojima's attention).
Is there any opening you MUST watch whenever you turn on the game?
Dark Souls.
MGS 2 & 3's openings were damn hype in a good way. 1 really set a name for itself

That's just Nintendo first-party titles and harder to find JRPGs, OP. I have about 180 games in my DS / 3DS collection and I haven't even gone over a grand on all of it. You just have to be savvy about where to get games. Try a mom and pop game store or eBay.

It's only 10 dollars above the original price. For Bravely Default it's pretty cheap. I've seen it go as high as 80. The reason why it costs more is because they didn't print that many copies. Square didn't think this would sell as much as it did.
