Who else on /v/ is picking this up next week? I'm considering whether I should rush out straight away because Vanillaware has never let me down before but that's true of a lot of developers who then let me down by releasing subpar products this gen. After tax here in Canada, these games cost $90 Justin-Bux so what do you all think?

Homefront is concrete proof that we have reached peak autism. This is a game throwing basically every graphical gimmick in the book onscreen, pushing the extremely CPU and GPU hungry CryEngine as far as its ever gone.
And what do fuckwits say?

A lot of people incorrectly describe the logo of FFX as Yuna performing the sending. In fact this is only partially correct; the frayed "cloth" toward the right side is actually Sin's tail. Furthermore, if you look closely at the base of the water pillar, you can see the hint of a fin, as if Sin is lurking just beneath the surface. Together the logo actually symbolizes the spiral of death and foreshadows the revelation that the final summoning is actually responsible for Sin's continual rebirth.
