Why was this the worst version?
Because it gave him absolutly no tactictle advantage.
>>339577273
Troy Baker
>>339577273
Because he had very little dialogue and didn't serve much purpose in the grander plot other than juxtaposing Kaz and instigating BB's grand ruse. PP is game full of missed opportunities and there are plenty for Ocelot
>no duel at high noon with Skullface
>no codec calls where he talks about westerns
Would you rather:
>be the best person on your team that lost
>be the worst person on your team that won
Always take the win. If I'm the best person on a team that loses I just get pissed at myself for not doing enough to secure the win, since my teammates were obviously incompetent. Winning isn't everythingit's just the only thing that matters.
>>339577224
Better be the worst of the best.
Worst
>>339577224
Best. As long as I'm able to talk shit, I'm happy.
Hey /v/, how's that backlog?
32 games to go, it's coming along quite well but I'm worried my rate will slow down due to job
>>339577241
Good luck, Anon.
150+ games to go.
Just finished Infamous second son
Working on FF class zero, tales of hearts R and dead rising 3

it's my birthday and I can't afford to play the goddamned blizzard game you've all been gushing about. i'm not gonna ask for it to be gifted to me but i won't turn it down.
>sponge for good luck please like
Is it your fucking 13th birthday?
Can you even gift blizzard games ?
Sent ;)
So, I have this theory. I think that Bioware was influenced to make Mass effect by emissaries from the citadel council to get humanity used to the idea of the races therein so that we can avoid war when we inevitably advance to the point where we make contact.
Thoughts?
>>339576991
>wanting to avoid war with the xenos
>>339577221
The xenos want to avoid war with us, more like
>>339576991
If anything, it's because we all live in a simulation built after one of the endings. With a thorough enough spectrographic analysis of the cosmic background, we might be able to find out which one it was.
ITT: Overrated games
based on the games so far
iTT: games we cant git gud in so we hate them

What will make him useable?
Start with you not being shit at the game. Winston is amazing.
t. Mercy main (I know all to well how obnoxious a skilled Winston can be)
He needs to turn that frown upside-down!

Am I a pleb for not being able to enjoy GTA 1 and 2 or are they genuinely unplayable?
GTA2 is the best game in the entire series. Yes, you are a pleb.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O1EmNIGzys
They are unplayable by today's standards, just like old fallouts or Deus ex.
>>339575781
3 is as far back as i'd play if i did desu
This gameplay is fun and varied with great controls.
Why did this game get scorned so much?
>>339575592
because lazy twats who cant lift their pork arms
I think the actual game is great. Just too fucking short. If I wasn't such a Star Fox fan I wouldn't have bought it for full price.
>>339575592
You can't immediately jump into it and be amazing and there's actually a learning curve required for the gameplay changes. The "biggest" issue is that due to it being most All-Range Mode and unlike 64 enemies and bosses in all range mode have weak spots. The game requires you to master controlling the Arwing in 3D space in a generation where a lot of (non-Nintendo games) have automation in 3D games.
When you have a game like Batman: Arkham Knight, Witcher 3, Ass Creed, Shadows of Mordor that move your character to ensure you always hit your target even if you're not facing them. When instead a game that comes along and you're controlling a moving space ship with a free control turret and have to hit specific targets on moving enemies and the standard attack has no homing and demands precision.
People don't like admiting they just suck and need to learn, so they blame the game and pretend the games that do stuff for them have good controls.
Why is this game so good?
>>339575576
Because of Gandalf
>>339575576
It's not good though, a 6/10 at the very best. If you want a decent LotR '''RPG''' try War in the North.
>>339577552
Why the parenthesis?
Just finished this, fucking amazing
Finally a good alien game Sega didn't fuck up.
>favorite part
Medical bay when you first encounter ayyyyy lmao
>preferred hiding spot
Locker, easily
>favorite weapon
Flame thrower hands down
>most irritating part
Trying to hide from the synthetics when they're patrolling the bridge and power core
>did you kill people
As often as I could for that precious ammo and materials
>>339575523
Same here brah I just hope that there is a sequel in the make.
>>339575523
I loved the game, but I was a little disappointed you can't complete the game without killing enemies (at least on Hard).
>Sega didn't fuck up
But the last one was fucked by Gearbox

What do you want to see in the next Animal Crossing? No furfags please
Here's my (partial) list:
Villagers
>more personality types, I want grumpy villagers to go back to being assholes
>quirks that act like 'sub-personality types' so that two villagers with the both type will still have some small differences
>more complex personalities and 'settings': a tsundere that acts like a jerk but slowly opens up, a chuuni whose character breaks every now and then, a shy one that follows you around hiding, someone who changes personality during the night, etc
>a LOT more dialog lines
>being able to choose where new villagers will build their houses
>best friends that will never leave your town
>room mates, both in your house and between villagers
>villagers related to each other (brothers, cousins, childhood friends etc)
>more interaction with them, like being able to invite them to fish, catch bugs, shop, play soccer etc
Village
>houses for Nook, Able Sisters etc
>more varied zones like mountains, marshes, jungles, etc
>caves: like fossils, are generated at random places every day
>inside them you can find fossils, minerals, different types of bugs and fish, maybe a bat NPC
>more and more interactive PWPs, like being able to build soccer fields or something that add new things to do
Activities
>bring back NES games, they could put those short VC demos or let you play your own VC games
>more minigames like the ones on holidays
>jobs: just like when you had to work for Nook or when you work at the coffee shop, you could work for the Able Sisters to design clothes on commission, or at the Postal Office and deliver mail to the villagers
>an online hub where you can meet with other players, like a mall or something, kind of like the island from NL
There's a lot more but that's enough for now.
