Why is it that I can spend an entire day attempting an unlpleasent task at a video game, such as repeating a time-trial over and over for an S rank or leaderboard place, but I can't apply that determination to anything actually productive like drawing? I'm not really having fun or getting instant gratification either way

So I've decided to get into the PC gaming scene
im going with a cheaper build because its my first but have finally decided on an AMD FX 6300 and a GTX 950 along with 16 GB of RAM
The entire build will cost me less than $500 since i have friends that are willing to sell me their older motherboards, power supplys, etc for cheap
and people say PC gaming is expensive

I don't like the entire series, I dislike P1 and P4. On the other hand though P2 is cool as fuck and P3 has some gameplay mechanics you never see anywhere else. I know P4 had them as well but the whole management is just too simplified for my taste and the story isn't good enough
