Water stage, realistic physics, blood, and atmospherics, a semi-grounded art style that didn't look like a children's cartoon, so much complexity and depth. Thrown out the window. To today nothing in this industry makes me angrier than the gutting of Spore by EA into a shitty carcass of what it could have been.

An honest and civil discussion regarding the future of /v/.
Would you be in favor of separating /v/ into two boards? One board (/v/) would be about Japanese gaming, while the other (/wv/) would be about Western gaming.
Why would you be in favor of this? What would be the pros/cons? Are there other solutions that would not include this method (ie: separate the board in another fashion, aggressive moderation, etc)?
