Don't know 'cause I didn't play the redux yet, but the new edition says they worked on "pacing and rebalance of enemies", meaning if'ts probably faster to kill them.
Flying Wild Hog, developers of Shadow Warrior released a "Redux" version of Hard Reset that is in fact a downgrade to the previous version.
They downgraded the game to release it on consoles and are now attempting a cash grab on PC claiming its a "Redux" when all they've done is added some unbalanced mechanics, unnecessary animations and severely downgraded graphics.
