First party Nintendo games are at the very worst ok. Meanwhile third party titles range from mediocre to awful. And that's disregarding how many third party developers focus on movies without gameplay.

What is the BEST area in Souls?
Irythill of the Boreal Valley is exceptionally well made.
Nightmare of Mensis has great level design and atmosphere.
I like Shulva and the Dragon Sanctrum the most though. It's interactivity and all the movable platforms shit was great and I was sad to see that DaS3 didn't try something similar.

Unique legendaries are the main issue.
They are the sole reason the endgame of RoS sucks donkeyballs, for you are forcefully required to grind for thousands of hours to get a single item because its special effect combined with other items lets you cheese easily through T10 and other difficulties.
We're talking about special combinations of unique legendaries that rank up your damage by 3000% or even more.
Well, they're bringing that shit to WoW with Legion, and it doesn't take a fool to realize how absolutely atrocious will be now to gear up following specific builds and whatsoever, as these "legendaries" with enhancing effects will be absolutely mandatory, especially for high end raiding.
Expect people pretending you to have item "x" to do "y".

Because indies can publish for a console that is still easily accessible for free because the Dreamcast doesn't have any DRM.
You can literally burn the rom on a CD and play nearly any DC game.
