It felt a bit easier, but I also went into the game having played all the others in the series, so I was very comfortable with the mechanics and could anticipate most of the things that they would throw at me.
Nothing will ever be able to recreate your first playthrough of a souls game, unfortunately.
What was the point of this game?
The time powers had no real relevance to the overall narrative, it was just some random serial killer dude drugging people and you having powers for no explained reason.
The story had no actual message and the time shit was a just a gimmick.
At least in shit like Heavy Rain the beginning had a purpose and was relevant to the villains motivations, this shit had none of that, just some random stupid tornado.

frenchfag developers who literally cannot stop making shit games and whose entire dev team consists of mid-20s talentless hipsters with degrees in photography and post-colonial slam poetry who spend most of their days posting on twitter on their laptops with coexist and antifa stickers on the back, saw the success of telltale's walking dead games and decided to copy them but add their own unique twist. only they're fucking incompetent and can't make a proper coherent narrative, let alone an entire game, and instead shit out the schlockiest piece of degrassi tier high school drama in video game form with zero gameplay and meme voice actors like anthony burch's sister. plus, french people, being naturally autistic, managed to make the writing cringingly awkward in an attempt to mimic the average hipster teen's vernacular and ended up creating sheer comedy instead. it was basically just an attempt to make an """emotional""" story that tumblrina snowflakes could relate to, down to the very part where every single character was white and affluent and a walking caricature, and they did just that, as the game perfectly reflected its fanbase by being a living meme

Everyone is trying so hard to play it safe because of how hilariously bad 2010 was that e3 has become completely dry and boring. Prior to and during 2010 e3 served as a type of drinking game, now its just an executive board meeting.

I just got done playing the first through DMD mode, and this one seems bad by comparison. Most of the normal enemies aren't even attacking half of the time, and bosses feel like you just need to button mash to win. I just got done with the helicopter boss, and the whole fight was spamming guns while occasionally pressing the dodge button. It was tedious.
The first game had its own issues, bad camera, and the first Mundus fight was pretty tedious too. Overall it was a good game though, but this one seems so much worse. Am I not giving it a chance or should I just play 3?
