I agree. Bethesda's marketing department dropped the ball hard when advertising Doom 4.
The campaign actually being good did soften the blow of the open multiplayer beta being horrible though.

Game came out to pc recently, and ALL the people are going nuts over the "use-your-art" feature.
Game also has over 40+ hours of story, with a medium difficulty.
