This isn't the solution.
Moving the problem elsewhere isn't the solution, like the idea of /qa/ making a billion boards for a billion things and splitting boards into another billions board won't fix a fucking thing.
Friday drawthreads wouldn't work any more.
People seem to forget why they did work, and it was because drawfags themselves made them, organized them and supported them. So when you saw a friday drawthread you knew there were at least five drawfags behind it. And as a drawfag you knew you could participate without the burden of supporting a whole thread yourself.
They also were short and sweet, not lasting more than four/five hours each, and extending till saturday if needed, not just as some innertia shit. Sure there would be someone, usually not a drawfag, trying to extend them till the end of the weekend, but it was always an artificial push and they would die dry as sun as the morning sun rised on monday.
Now daily drawtherads are supportted by requesters and it's expected from them to keep them alive so drwfags can come and check if there is something for them. You took away control of the threads from the drawfag, you can't just give it back now that things don't work the way you envisioned, because it doing so you destroyed the structure that kept those threads healthy.
