I'm about half way (I think) through this game, and not enjoying it nearly as much as any of the previous ones.
Does it get any better? I'm up to where Raiden appears for the first time and has a cutscene fight with the geckos.
I'm considering just skipping ahead to Peace Walker at this point. My favourite part of the game has been the boss fight with the Octopus, does it have anything worth playing on for, or is this game just a low pointin the series?

No, Acts 3 and 5 are horrible from a gameplay standpoint. 5 in particular has literally one (1) actual stealth segment.
However Act 4 is pretty great.

The resolution would be John sexing up a hot alien chick and issuing a truce between humans and aliens. RDR3 will have John travelling through space in search of his space baby that has gone rogue and threatens to destroy the galaxy.

Bravo Blizzard. Great attention to detail as always. As if this character wasn't underpowered enough.
I really like playing Zenyatta because his dps feels incredibly satisfying but he gets absolutely fucked over by most of the cast.
