I just downloaded Magic Duels on steam and I can't figure out how to play a card for it's madness cost...not even in the tutorial.

That's part of the problem. I can't figure out how to discard the card. I drag it over to the graveyard, double click it, right click it...everything I can think of. Only thing I get is "you can't play this card cuz it ain't your turn"
you only discard it via the effect of another card. Meaning you should fill your deck with cards that enable you to discard your own cards, pic related

So I recently reformatted my computer and didn't realize that Souls 2 and 3 both don't have cloud saving and lost my data. I decided to start a new playthrough of SoTFS since Souls 3 is linear as fuck and not being able to skip to the areas that have what I want for my build kills repeat playthroughs for me.
I'm seeing summon signs all over in every area I go to and invasions at a decent rate. I put the bell tower covenant ring on and had invasions almost back to back. I went to the bell tower and had plenty of fights.
I didn't realize how much I missed this game in just my first hours of gameplay:

>The weapons don't all have the same fucking animation, various movesets between straight swords, great swords, and ultra greatswords whereas in Souls 3 they all have the same vertical swing moveset.

I dislike the repeating textures in the area and the game is certainly less good looking than DS3 but the gameplay and weapon movesets blow Souls 3 out of the water.
Pic related: SoTFS only had around 1900 players when DS3 released, it's back up to nearly 4k. I guess people realized how much of a hack Miyazaki is and how uninteresting Dark Souls 3: Safe Space Edition is.

Why can't either Nintendo or Sony straight up buy Capcom and force them to make games again? Capcom with Megaman, DMC, RE, Monster Hunter and Street Fighter arguably holds some of the most marketable and valuable vidya characters of all time. Capcom can almost make a smash clone with roster that rivals Smash and certainly better than Sony all stars. If a certain home console is a Capcom game exclusive machine, it'll win the console war easily

I got it for free through work, and since I'm IT I have to get to know it anyway. So I just said fuck it and installed it couple days ago.
So far not that happy. Lot of bugs and freezes with pretty regular programs. A lot of things can be corrected through regedit, but you shouldn't have to.

only works though because I've played 50+ eroges and have been exposed to japanese for over 10 years
too much effort to learn kanji that you forget unless you keep practicing your entire life.
