In consideration of the promises by RSI hereunder, you agree that, following the Cancellation Period, you shall irrevocably waive any claim for refund of any Pledge that has been used for the Game Cost and Pledge Item Cost in accordance with the above.

Im planning on getting this on the sale. Never played before. It is good? Should I buy the HD Version? should I buy Age of Wonders 3 instead?
Thinking of picking this game up, but not sure.
First of all, I don't trust Ubisoft and hate that Uplay crap.
But, I really like tactical games, I like CS:GO a lot and think the concept of this one is really interesting.
So what's /v/'s verdict? Is it any good? How are the servers? Balancing? Etc.

>pretty well balanced. some classes are more useful but you can compete with all of them
>ubisoft has been good about listening to the community and patching game play
>new content is free (if you buy the pass you get early access for a week)
>game is extremely fun
cons
>single player is only 3ofps on consoles. not sure about pc
>somewhat steep learning curve. every class is different, you have to learn which walls can be breached
>most players will already know the maps
>it may take a while to unlock everything
>questionable net code at times
if you like cs you should like this game: similar modes, one lifer per round, guns can kill with a single bullet
