Not the other anon, but however, in the first place, we don't really have enough choices to think about things like quality. But if anyone asks me, the Yuri is pretty important. Because, I specifically choose to play a Yuri VN to get to see Yuri. If a good story is all that matters, I don't need to specially seek out a Yuri VN. Any VN which fits will do.

I felt like the world-building and story structure didn't make a lot of sense, which could be overlooked if the characters and romance were great, but they weren't, so I just felt frustrated overall.
I was trying to make Kuroko Koumori in Saints Row, and it got me thinking.

It's a game aimed at men who masturbate to yuri porn. The feature makes some sense, at least ad an optional thing. The whole tone of the game is not aimed at people very sensitive about the nature of the sexual content, who are likely to want a high degree of yuri purity.

Randomly jumping into the discussion here, but I wouldn't recommend MadiYuri either. Not worth the trouble imo. There are about 3 good routes (Arina, Rinko andSensei), the rest are fairly bad... idk, mostly because those are the only routes in which the girls seemed to be truly romantically interested in Akira. In the others it felt like they were doing casual lewds or something, with reasons like "Akira's my masturbation instructor" and "Akira teaches me to make lewd candy that will attract more customers to the store".

The route is more important than the one with the regular elf though, since doing it changes a lot of the other plotlines and opens up new endings.

I have recently purchased a DS for the pokeymanz, and I was wondering if there were also any games that had some sort of yuri in them, even if it's just a "you can pick a female character but she has all the same dialog as the male which makes it seem kind of gay" sort of thing. I played Digimon World Dawn and it was kind of like this although it's a really really huge stretch. The dialog is the exact same whether you play a male or female (in fact, I think were are a couple of typos where even if you pick a female character, they refer to you as he/him) and there are some flirty-ish lines. Mainly I liked it because I could make a digimon imaginary yuri harem of angewomon/ladydevimon/rosemon. Be warned though that the game is 100% pure grind and not much else.

If I remember right, Viconia's romance has a whole part where she dismisses CHARNAME as a mere male in every conversation. That's kind of hard to ignore.
Jaheira's works well as a yuri romance, as CHARNAME's gender is completely irrelevant in it.

You don't even have to mod it, at least not the original. There was an old hack way back when that you could start the game in multiplayer mode with a male PC and then swap in a female PC and the game would continue with all the gender flags wrong, so I could seduce elf girls.

IIRC, you have to beat the second storyline, so it would probably take you a very long time before you can unlock that option. It's more of an endgame bonus. It's a pretty fun game though. The character swapping doesn't feel too tacked on as well. When switching from the male avatar to female avatar, not only does their in-game models and portraits change, even their voices will switch over. While getting married, both the bride and the female avatar will both also be wearing wedding dresses. The dialogue stays the same, however.

No. You are not required to get married or even date. It's been a while since I played the game, but I don't believe you enter a romantic relationship until you actually confess to them and they agree to go out with you. You can also date multiple girls at the same time.

They made a mistake having Lumina be the manifestation of Lightning's emotions. Lightning can actually be pretty cute when she's flustered. Like when "Hope" told her she was going to have to star in a play.

The game is VERY gay, it's all about Max trying to help/save the most important person in her life and meanwhile realizing (unless you make her make idiotic anti-/u/ choices) that Chloe is something more than her best friend (as you can canonically see in her monologues in her diary).
And surely there IS development for them. Chloe and Max were best friends when they were little but at the start of the game it's akward for them since they haven't seen each other in years, plus Chole still have a (canon) crush on her (female) friend who has gone missing. During the game there is increasely more flirting between them, until Max realizes that she is in love with Chloe and she's ready to do anything for her.
So, basically: yes, it's gay, it's canon, go play the fucking game.

To elaborateNokia is hyped about Digimons. Yuko is brocon, having maybe one or two moments of tsun toward MC. As for Kyoko, romantic subtext is nonexistent although the ending can be good material. The rest of the female cast doesn't really talk with MC. Nokia teases Fey about liking Yuko, but aside from one or two Yuko tsun moments toward MC, that's all the romantic subtext let alone yuri subtext you get.
But other than that, it's a fun Digimon game. If you have PSV and are a Digimon fan, you should buy it.
