Minor nitpick in an otherwise great episode.
I really disliked the Ramsay death scene. It was satisfying, and I understand why they did it; showfags fucking hate ramsay, and they wanted to see him brutally murdered. Getting eaten alive by his own dogs thus fulfills that well.
HOWEVER
I believe Jon should have done the honorable thing, much like his father, and given him a clean death despite everything he did. Should have saved him as a prisoner, and invited all the northern lords to come watch Jon personally extinguish House Bolton forever, and award their lands and the Dreadfort to some loyal houses like the Hornwoods, Mormonts, etc.
They could have done this in the finale.

This episode just rehashed all of Game of Thrones' tired old tropes from seasons past. I'm so tired of it all.
Ramsay is just another artificial character designed just to give the audience someone to hate. Like Joffrey, but without the smarm and smugness that made him entertaining. I can't hate him because it's all so fucking fake. I felt nothing when he died. When it happened, all I could picture were those two faggots D&D thinking "Oh, this is such a fist-pumpy moment, you're gonna LOVE it! Haha, yeah, get him, Jon!" Sansa's "don't look back at the explosion" forced moment of badassery as Ramsay got maimed by the dogs was so fucking cringey, I don't know how you guys are okay with that shit.
And Jon Snow is such a fucking idiot. He barely even has a personality. I just don't care about him. He sets up his own failure, only to get saved by a deus ex machina reinforcement cavalry charge AGAIN. It means nothing. There is no character. There are no stakes. I almost wanted Ramsay to win, just to see them move the plot forward in a different direction and punish Jon for his bullshit.
And Dany pulls her same old schtick. Watch her lose everything over the course of the next season due to her Jon Snow-levels of incompetence, only to get it all back via some retarded, contrived scenario involving her dragons or her magical heritage.
I want to say I'm done with this show, but I know I'll keep watching. I'm part of the problem. This show is going nowhere. There's no more intrigue, no more thought, no more character. Just forced moments of badassery meant to counter fake, one-note villains. It's neat to watch, sure, but I'm more invested in Silicon Valley each Sunday than I am with GoT. I'm tired of the "badasses," the pointless battles, the meaningless plot arcs that contribute nothing, the throwaway speeches, and so on.
