Why is this movie so based?

Didn't know he was a Christian, is that why the "there's only one God" line is in the first Avengers movie?

That is the single stupidest quote I've ever heard.
It can be applied to literally anything.
>People say that no one can prove the existence of the Dragons
>But I say that no one can disprove that Dragons exist.
>People say that no one can prove the existence of the perfect cunt, and they're right.
>But I say no one can disprove that the perfect cunt exists.
Now make your own quote everyone!

Rosemary's Baby, Ninth Gate
Repulsion and Rosemary's Baby
Her death was unexpected and cold.
So I watched this with 6 of my friends, 2 of which NEVER SAW THE ORIGINAL FILM. We all tried to be open minded about this shit and said it would be a win-win (for us) wasting about 38 dollars for all of us (we watched 2D) because we said that if the film was horrible we get to complain about it and shit on it all night while drinking and eating pizza and if the film was good then we'll be thoroughly surprised.we all fucking liked it, solid 6-7/10. We asked the 2 people who never saw the original in their lives what they thought about the film and they both loved the film (I was also explaining all the cameos and references to them so they really didn't know shit). They said it stood on its own fairly well and the subtle jokes and british-like humor worked well for them.
yea, no, shill

It's pretty much how I felt about Spy. I thought it was gonna be horrible but was surprised that it was actually funny.

What is your expectations for twin peaks 2017? Will it be better than the original series?

The more I watch Lost Highway, the more I believe I undercover new things of the story. Truly one of the best films ever made.
The whole party scene near the beginning: that all takes place in Fred's head and never actually happened, as you notice he says to that other guy at the party:"Did you hear that Dick Laurent is dead?". As most who have watched the movie: the movie plays out not in real order but in the order of how Fred "likes to remember things his way".The second chapter of the movie with him working as a mechanic and meeting the women who looks just like his wife: this is I believe because Fred is playing out in his head how he really got to know his wife and Laurent before finding out that she was involved in the porno ring but instead of him running away with her as it is shown near the end of the second act: he instead murders her after murdering Laurent and the other guy. Which is how the 3rd act plays out after his wife leaves Laurent at the hotel: him dragging him to the desert and killing him before going back home which is when the cops show up and he is caught and sent to the electric chair. Him escaping prison in another form is just his imagination playing out while he is being sentenced to die for killing his wife. The video tapes and the mystery man are showing the truth of what he has done, constantly haunting him.
I think I made sense of what the movie actually is about if anyone can correct me.
All the red in the movie is very interesting, especially that girl in the red clothes while the mystery man is standing beside her; all this as I assume is symbolicof the blood of Fred's wife
Why aren't films good anymore
Those days are over, now we get bullshit like Mad Max Fury Road.
>>72015466
THANK YOU KRAGER! At least someone else acknowledges how shit Fury Road was. It's a 5/10 at best.
>>72015447
Are you kidding? Mission Impossible 5 was one of the best action/thriller films I have seen in the past decade.
Tom Cruise right now is the only actor who is truly saving Hollywood at this moment.

Will we ever get a film based on the XXL Magazine's 2016 Freshman issue?
Hip-hop and rap are nothing more than aggressive lyrics set to simplistic beats and melodies. They take very-little skill or hard work to create and are subsequently enjoyed by those with no appreciation of skill or hard work.
Also, hip-hop and rap tend to be something of a catalyst* for violent acts committed by these unintelligent, uninspired, unskilled and lazy people (mostly men). Ironically, were one to resort to violence in an attempt to remove said-problem (I can think of a few who'd be first to go), this would negate the argument, entirely. So, the rest of us just put up with hip-hop, rap and their followers.
There are so many wondrous things we've learned we can do with our voices, in unison, with other hard-working people who've been practicing until their fingers bleed, and there are STILL those who listen to people talking over a generic melody and beat?
*The most humorous thing about this post is, an overwhelming majority of those that DO defend hip-hop and rap, would have to head to Google or a dictionary to know what the word, "catalyst" means.
>>72015241
We just need someone to come out and start rapping aggressively about Calculus and challenging famous rappers and making them look stupid in public. That would probably solve a lot of things.

Yachty deserves a movie, and kodak black is already in every episode of the Simpsons

>>72014519
A blatant hack of a film trilogy designed solely to keep the film rights. Really.
>>72014519
Shitty adaptation that completely misunderstood an already questionable book.

RL Humans established farming roughly 13-15,000 years ago.
Since then we've only advanced in any significant measure in the last 500 years.
Westeros is basically in Mesopotamia/Ancient Egypt mode right now.
