What's the name of that Adam Sandler movie where he plays an immature man-child who shirks his responsibilities, then has to go on a journey of redemption, win the heart of the girl, defeat the bully, and make a bunch of quirky misfit friends along the way?

What's the name of that Adam Sandler movie where in spite of being a totally unfunny unlikeable douche he scores the hottest girl in the movie?
What is the Pet Sounds of film?
Magical Mystery Tour
Man, Pet Sounds and the SMiLE Sessions is something everybody should take a listen to.
I've listened to either one of these albums every day.
As for the question, I do not know. Honestly I feel like there's nothing like it
Image not from the film...
You guys were really good at this last time I described a movie that I couldn't remember the name of. So this is it...
This film is probably from the early 90s. I saw it on cable in the mid 90s. It's a B-movie sort of. Most people have not heard of it I bet. The plot is that a 25-30ish single working woman who is lonely invites a guy over to her apartment to have dinner. Most of the movie is them sitting there for like an hour just talking back and forth. At times, you might wonder if the movie has a plot at all.
So...

When will you faggots accept that he just makes glorified dadflicks. he disguises a middle of the road sensibility with non-narrative approach. it only catches on because hes from the 70s.
>>63602084
>dad flicks
There's literally nothing wrong with this.
Sorry your father wasn't around to raise you.
>>63602084
I'm a dad and I can't stand Terrence Malick.
He makes dad flicks for people who have never been dads, maybe. He doesn't know anything about life, just some rich kid surrounded by people who don't want to feel guilty about his suicide.
I want to participate in a Malick thread, but not this one.
Why'd you have to go and be so awful, OP
-With no budget for the marketing departement/just promoting it on internet
-Normal (ie = some thousand per month) salary for actors/directors/producers
-doeing special effects /CGI to third world compagny/independant people
How could it be good compared to the standards blockbusters ? (Jurassic World, Star Wars, Forest Gump, Indiana Jones etc)
Would you make a cent of it ?
Discuss.

Everyone's related in Hollywood now, it's why there are no good or new ideas. It's not like the old days when auteurs had distinct interests and they all fucked Grace Kelly.

>>63601725

no it isn't, it just didn't get a good buzz or was marketed properly
Cavill isn't even a good Cavill, much less Bond.
