You guys were really good at this last time I described a movie that I couldn't remember the name of. So this is it...
This film is probably from the early 90s. I saw it on cable in the mid 90s. It's a B-movie sort of. Most people have not heard of it I bet. The plot is that a 25-30ish single working woman who is lonely invites a guy over to her apartment to have dinner. Most of the movie is them sitting there for like an hour just talking back and forth. At times, you might wonder if the movie has a plot at all.
So they talk and sit around trying to get to know one another. That's all that really happens until the end. I won't say what happens at the end in case someone here wants to see it but hasn't. It's totally worth it if you can make it all the way to the finish.
Anyone have any idea what the title is? I believe it is something simple like, "The Date" or something but I'm not sure. Help appreciated.
If it helps, I think the lady playing the main role had lightish brown hair.
