Goddammit /tv/ why has this been stuck in my head since opening day? Nearly 3 months later and it's as fresh as the first time I watched it. Watched the Ultimate Edition a couple days ago and it was even better. Why is it sounds good? The broken, angry Batman, an unsure, misunderstood Superman, a fantastic supporting cast, memorable dialogue, perfect music and cinematography, subtext for days. Seriously, it's been a long time since a film has stuck with me like this.

I think a lot of it is how well the two main characters are written. We finally see the toll that 20 years of crime fighting has taken on Bruce and we see a young Superman coping with his own desire to do good and feeling the weight of the world's expectations of him.

I think I'm going to watch it again. Thank you based Snyder for this gift you have given us. Forgive the nonbelievers. They know not what they do.

I have nothing but a complete lack of surprise that Space Cop was a pathetic, abysmal failure of a film, and I have nothing but scorn and contemptuous laughter for the morons who have been supporting Red Letter Media for years with patronage. Laziness and lack of organisation will ALWAYS shine through, in the end.

Red Letter Media have based their entire schtick around "humorous irony" but this time, when they themselves were put to the test ("can YOU make a good film, with all your supposed knowledge about it?") their true colors shone through for all to see. I knew it would happen, of course. I knew it from the first time I decided to bite the proverbial bullet and attempt to view one of their videos on Youtube.

Hopefully as a direct result of this, one or more of the members of Red Letter Media will realise that they are, and have been, nothing but an abhorrent failure "half-assing it" through life, and put an end to it. Their life, that is. Now THAT I would give patronage to.

Make your suicides happen, Red Letter Media. It's the only chance at redemption you all have.

Good series. Liked the first season more than the second but the latter was still great, primarily thanks to Lou and Hank
>>
First season is some fantastic television.

On par with the movie, arguably even better.

The Coen Brothers humor is there and the characters are entertaining and colorful.

Haven't seen the 2nd season but I've heard great things so it's safe to assume it's good too.

A solid B+ film.

The main story was pretty stupid, and Kim Basinger's speech at the end seemed to go on forever and felt weirdly out of place.

But the chemistry between the leads was great, the 70s aesthetic was out in full force, and the visual gags worked.
