No, it's done equally wrong. Great acting and film making. Sets up loads of intrigue, but then ends up feeling like some silly scooby doo bullshit by the time you get to the end and all of the red herrings that seemed so interesting are just a waste of time in hindsight.

Just like most people the person writing this article is a retard when it comes to The Village. I don't think Shamalaiyngaindingdog has done any other movie that even comes remotely close to the quality of The Village. I think he's mostly a hack actually which is why the brilliance of The Village is so unexpected and difficult to process.
