Because Tim The Fool Man Taylor was a bumbling idiot. He put his life and the life of all this loved ones and coworkers at risk with every little thing he fixed or built.
AAAAAARUARRRGH?
This movie made Michael Cera intimidating. One of my favorites of the year. Anyone else see it?
>>64210125

Brand Loyalty.

Why can't force users use the force to rip their enemies' brain out of their skulls? Or their heart out of their chest? Is there anything in the lore that explains why?
>>64209869
Because that would make the films 18s/equivalents.
Why do you think Mace Windu crushing Grievous' lungs is done off-screen?
Bad sportsmanship
I SMELL AN EPIC FANFICTION HAPPENING, STARRING DARTH EDGEEE

i bet you loved the force awakens "story line" then
Damn this was a real pleasant surprise. I was expecting a no budget schlock-horror; Kurt Russel past his prime, shooting zombies in the vein of "The Quick and the Undead"...what I got was a masterclass in building suspense without CGI, great dialogue and some real down-to-earth perfomances.
>Those scenes where the Troglodytes just come out of nowhere and wreck the crew in seconds
>That one scene in which the film gets its name
>The all white-clad injun hunter dandy...

Waste of sid haig tho. Wish he was in it longer. Also seeing the mass rape would have been nice.
>>64209127
Tarantino is probably butthurt this is a better Kurt Russell western than The Hateful Eight.
Got any good examples of directors who made one very good debut movie and proceeded to fuck it all up by making all garbage after that?
Pic related, Layer Cake was boss but now he's just making retarded comic book movies.
everything Vaughn has made is absolute garbage
Vaughn is a great director in the flick circle of Hollywood.

Irvin Kershner
Made Empire Strikes Back, follows it with never say never again
I liked Thief, Heat and The Collateral
I didn't like Manhunter and Miami Vice
Should I download this one?

Nope. It's fucking shit.
>didn't like Manhunter
Oh, you'll LOVE Blackhat, then!
Michael Mann is one of the most inauthentic filmmakers working today.
If you want your cinema to be both action-packed and not drenched in pseudo-irony, I suggest watching some Michael Bay.
I think we can all agree with this
ANH was pure flick
>star wars
>film
Star Wars was the artistic genocide of mainstream film. You'd absolutely need to be brainwashed /v/ child to have any fondness for any of this toy commercial series. If you have an affinity for the millenium falcon then you may as well have an affinity for corporate logos.
>>64208848
>kubrick
>anything above flick
i see reddit has learned how to start threads now

i think its brilliant cinema. exquisite screenplay, sublime acting from rob patterson - i really like his character.
i also like the main guy and the minimalistic dialogue
anyone? damn i should have posted something star wars related
I posted about this yesterday and got no traction. Glad someone else is keeping it going
I really enjoyed it. Thought Pattinson did a solid job at mentally handicapped without going full retard.
Was also enjoyable in a new way on a second viewing knowing the ending.
>>64209163
i like how the main characters actions were unpredictable. a rare thing in films it seems.
i would have liked to see shots of the rest of the world dealing with this collapse but i guess it leaves it open to imagination
