What is stopping you from liking this movie? For me it is that Rey is a Mary sue. In particular I just can't get over how Abrams retconned the way the force works. To me it shows a real lack of effort, creativity and foresight. They couldn't think if any other way for Rey to escape her restraints or to get the lightsaber? Why couldn't Finn and Ham release her. Why couldn't Finn give her the lightsaber. Why did they have to make her a master of Jedi mind tricks and force pulling shit without her ever being trained, guided or practiced in the force.
