Why was the media of the entire country so fucking concerned about the disappearance of a comic writer in Missouri? Why would so many people assume the conclusion that a guy murdered his wife from the fact that he wasn't showing strong emotions in front of the camera after her disappearance? Why was the media as a whole represented as such a powerful, powerful, and dumb as fuck entity, to levels of complete lack of realism? Are we expected to believe that the guy would rather live the rest of his life with a murderous psychopath as his wife than divorce her and...

in the late 90's/early 2000's
no idea what it is like now
I worked with this fucking guy in the early 90s, was the most annoying asshole alive. After Hook came off, he really did think he was Rufio, and wouldn't shut the fuck up about Hook. He was super popular because of it. He really thought he was friends with Spielberg and was going to be a star and let it get to his head. Fast forward now 25 years later, I can only laugh seeing how his filmography turned out to be such shit when he was talking so big, all I can say is it's karmic justice.

And here you are, shitposting about him on /tv/. Nice quads though, faggot.

Is this the best scene in cinema history?
>>64296518
>Some stupid battle scene
Uh, no? It's not awful, and certainly better than anything in the Hobbit trilogy, but I can think of a few epic battle scenes which are better. I actually think RotK is the weakest of the trilogy overall, there's too much emphasis on the battles, which is just fucking boring.
>>64296610
well look at this contrarian faggot. everyone knows Thedoen's speech and the Rohirrim's charge is the best scene of the trilogy.

Tone. It wants to be like the original (stripped down, back to basics, no riches) but it also wants to be trendy and have new age hip hop music, a corny as fuck villian, and an end fight that is straight out of some cheesy 90s action movie with the bad editing and black and white mic footage cut in. They should've stuck to the directors cut version

Depressing as fuck. Which would be fine if the previous movie wasn't so bombastic and glorious.
Rocky IV was just too good to make a sequel
Why is Harry such a terrible hero?
>lives a horrid, abusive childhood
>finds out he's a wizard
>has the chance of a lifetime to go to a magical school and learn all sorts of fascinating things
>most evil wizard of all time is still trying to kill him
>goofs off with Ron and barely scrapes by in all his classes

You said it yourself: he had a terrible upbringing. Why would he suddenly be well adjusted and responsible? It makes total sense that he would have more in common with a poorfag like Ron.
If Dumbledore wasn't such a hack everything would've been so much easier, it wasn't Harrys fault
>>64296293
If you knew a powerful wizard psychopath was trying to kill you, wouldn't you try and learn some decent magic?
Honestly Harry comes off as ungrateful a lot of the time, in regards to his view on learning magic and his schoolwork
He doesn't even go and visit Hagrid anymore after the first few books, only when he wants something from him
