Can we stop pretending these weren't good movies? If you can ignore the pointless love triangle, crappy orc CGI, and the fact that Azog was supposed to be dead at that point in time, you'll realize that PJ really nailed the feel of the book. And for people that complain about stuff like the absurdness of the barrel scene etc. realize that The Hobbit is Bilbo's recount of the story, and how Gandalf tells him that "all good stories deserve embellishment." You're all just mad that these movies weren't exactly like the Lord of the Rings when the truth is that in making the movies a bit silly, Peter Jackson was actually staying true to the source material.
My favorite part was when Smaug flew off to destroy Dale at the end of episode 2 and then I had to wait a year for all the tension to die off and see hom die before the opening credits of the third
>If you can ignore the pointless love triangle, crappy orc CGI, and the fact that Azog was supposed to be dead at that point in time
You're asking to me ignore a lot of things in there son

If we can ignore ninety percent of the trilogy its a good movie
Sure whatever, heres your (you)
>it's a "one of the characters says 'shit' because we're on cable now" episode
>wanting them to say children's words like poop instead
>It's a Rodger episode

I think it's funnier when it's bleeped
Anyone else watching season 4 here? I'm on episode 3 but I think I want to drop it anyone else feel the same way?
Watched the whole season. This show is now dead. It looks like Netflix hasnt found any new IP to take over after HoC ends and they are going to water the fucker down as much as it can. The continuation from last season this season is an absolute shitshow and it has quickly gone from a kinda realistic picture of modern day politics game to a big bang theory style show for normies. The plots are easy and the absolutely shameless propaganda pieces are disgusting. It's like they are trying to do a new scenario per season (this season we are election Frank, last season we saw election Frank, next season we see war time Frank) I have honestly lost all faith in the show and the fact that the Hammerschmidt story arc goes for the entire fucking season and does not pay off shows just how much they have in the tank for next season.
Lucas going postal let's face it makes no sense. They just fucking showed that shit in and they didn't even bother go any deeper than that. It was just assumed that it's completely normal for him to do this legitimizing in the viewers eye IRL 'active shooter' "incidents" it was extremely cringeworthy.
TL;Dr the show is co-opted and now written exclusively for normies with MSM propaganda embedded even though they their whole selling point was "we are not in the system"
Fuck this show and fuck Netflix.
>mfw Republican candidate is a composite mainly based on God emperor trump
>mfw cuck propaganda
>mfw we can't afford new characters
>mfw Democratic primary bypassed with literally LITERALLY no real primary system
>mfw Frank runs unopposed at least twice for fucking president and no one bats an eye
>mfw husband-wife ticket is fucking barely questioned.
>mfw Tom 'your words have no rhythm' Yates
If they had done the election itself this season maybe I won't be that upset. What's more interesting is that now "smart writing" clearly means writing that predicts the future. One thing the show postulated was '73 style oil crisis but IRL oil has never been cheaper so it will be interesting to see if any of the other predictions the show made pan out.

I quit after season two was disappointing.
>I'm better than you
This might just be the best movie ever made
Its my 2nd favorite of all time, second only to 2001
>>66724414
it is my favorite movie but it has flaws.
>pacing is shit
>tension scenes are not done well
>implying deckard is replicant destroys whole idea
>implying deckard and rachael are adam and eve of replicant race is nice religious symbolism but doesn't work with the idea
Am I the only one that wanted to fuck Sean Young after watching Blade Runner? Then I watched Ace Ventura and read more about her and I changed my mind.

You're allowed four /tv/ related wishes with the monkey paw. What do you wish for?
1. For Carnivale to receive all six season like it was supposed too
2. For all capeshit to go away
3. Joss Whedon to be erased from everyone's memory
4. more seasons of Jericho
1. Del Toro gets to make Mountains Of Madness
2. Satoshi Kon is alive
3. Carnivale to receive all six season like it was supposed too
4. Actresses in general get a little bit fatter
1. Wish /tv/ would disappear forever and never come back.
Then I'd just throw the monkey paw away.

Lord of the Rings trilogy directed by Akira Kurosawa. Don't need any other wishes.
So, who will die in the season finale from these 3?
>>66718876
Trick question, Abe will die on ep. 14
>>66718876
Negan will pick Glenn but then Daryl will stand up and attempt to sacrifice himself, but Negan will refuse his offer and kill Glenn, which Daryl will respond to by lunging on Negan and attacking him. Then Dwight will shoot Daryl with an arrow from his own bow, allowing Negan to gain and ground then beat Daryl. Both of them will die, shocking comic and TV readers.
Screencap this.
OP here, I think its gonna be Daryl, the chink already had 2 close encounters to death, I mean, it can happen but I doubt he will get Lucille'd
Plus, Abraham sure will get an arrow through his eye

DUDE WE WERE UNDERWATER THE WHOLE TIME LMAO
i cant be arsed to list the hundreds of movie i find underrated
Remember when Hollywood used to make schlock like this without trying to make it be a franchise or be apart of some shitty "expanded" movie universe?
I actually liked Van Helsing. It was just a fun action movie to watch.
People need to just accept that some movies are just made to be dumb fun.
>>66722332
Same with Solomon Kane desu
they still make stuff like Hansel and Gretel, Abraham Lincoln vs Vampires (?) and Cowboys vs Aliens. Aren't those your kinda thing?
Better Call Saul
So, what do you guys think about Kim?
>>66719559
bitch. literally drags him down.
>I got this awesome idea Kim and it's already working fine!
>omg no it's illegal stop it I mean it!!!
she will probably end up dead
>>66719768
well it's for his own good ( and hers too I guess ).
yeah it's working fine BECAUSE it's illegal. Should she just encourage him to keep doing stuff that can get him to lose his job?
I mean if she knew about how the video wasn't OK'ed by Cliff, she would've told him the same "You can't do it without his approval!" and you would've said she was dragging him down?
But she didn't know so he did it and now he's in trouble.
>Look Eric Roberts up on IMDB
>He's already made 10 movies this year
>>66719225
You mean he's starred in 10 movies that have begun production this year, or he has starred in 10 movies that have been released this year?
11 now actually

Amy Adams knew she was being paid less for “American Hustle”
http://nytlive.nytimes.com/womenintheworld/2016/03/04/amy-adams-knew-she-was-being-paid-less-for-american-hustle/
>When leaks of Sony emails revealed that Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence were paid less than their male co-stars for David O. Russell’s American Hustle, equal pay advocates used the moment to spotlight the wide difference between what men and women are paid across all industries and sparked a conversation among those in Hollywood about the glaring inequality. Jennifer Lawrence wrote about her experience for Lenny Letter and for the first time five-time Oscar nominee Amy Adams told British GQ this week where she stands on the issue: turns out, she knew she was being paid less, and still agreed to make the film. She also revealed that Russell, the film’s director, frequently made her cry on set.
>“Yeah, I did,” she said. “I didn’t speak about it before and I’m probably not going to speak about it forever, because I disagreed with … not Jennifer per se, but people who had opinions on how women should go about negotiating. The truth is we hire people to negotiate on our behalf, men and women … I knew I was being paid less and I still agreed to do it because the option comes down to do it or don’t do it. So you just have to decide if it’s worth it for you. It doesn’t mean I liked it.”
>Adams said that she was proud of Lawrence for penning the letter, not because it was “about getting paid or not getting paid,” but because it pushed back against the idea that women should remain non-controversial, to cause no problems. “It’s about finding your voice,” Adams said.
>Getting fat
>Start to complain about men
Every. Time.
This whole thing is silly.
If you're gonna be offered hundreds or thousands or millions to do a job that's not life threatening or immoral, you're gonna take it and try to get another worth about the same.
>>66719022
In hollywood you are paid what you are worth, bitch agreed to the sum they offered her, if she thought she was worth more, she could have asked for more money
