I liked it, but I couldn't tell you what it was about.
I think this was my first encounter with reddit media. I saw it first at around age 11 and I completely hated it, something about it really rubbed me up the wrong way, I didn't know why exactly and I didn't have a name for what was wrong with it at that point, but looking back now I can see that it was because it's a reddit film.

Poor focus. Too much going on and not nearly enough character development. Ultron gets set up to be the villain in a 3 minute sequence of cgi. This kind of poor set up is only rivaled by Electro's reasoning to be the bad guy in Amazing Spiderman 2.

Just watched this movie. I found Alverson's previous film, The Comedy, to be interesting artistically but not a great movie. Still, I love it. This I found to be an absolute pile of shit. Alverson seems to be trying to say so much, but everything he says has either been said before or isn't worth saying. I knew it wasn't going to be entertaining, but I thought it would at least make me think. Anyone else seen it? Anyone enjoy the movie? Or at least respect it for what it is? It's entirely possible that I'm missing something but I'm afraid I'm not.
