bump movie about to start
I'm about to finish Season 1, which Seasons are the best?
>>67064923
I liked the earlier episodes, first few seasons were the best, but it's all decent
Which Jet Li movie is the best? I like this one the most
Jet Li's fights are uniformly garbage. Sped up film and absurdly unnecessary wirework ruin every single one of his fight scenes. Shame he never managed to film a single good quality fight scene before he got over the hill, because he obviously has natural talent.
>>67064456
"hero" is the only acceptable answer. everything else is pure fucking cringe

Sorry for my bad english i am from russia. I was always wondering why the quality of our cinema droped so sevirly at the transition to the 21st centuary. I was always told that all cencurship and quality control was lost with the fall of communism but i mentioned that same thing happened in the west just earlier. People stoped singing in comedies.
All is about violence, drugs and whores. What happened. There was a time simple common people enjoyed movies like sounds of music and merry popins.why dont they now? Lots of people here thinks its some conspiracy against population...

Censorship means you actually had to try when making a script.
>>67064442
Priviet
You're imitating the dominant culture, which is the edgy, decadent West.
Why doesn't anyone here watch syfys 'The Magicians'?
So we're all caught up on the latest episode right? West coast just finished airing right?

What did you guys think of Making a Murderer?
There's just something about institutional injustice that gets my blood boiling so bad.
His nephew is such a fucking retarded piece of shit though. Everytime he said "I don't know" made me clench my teeth in frustration.
>>67064290
>His nephew is such a fucking retarded piece of shit
Chill. He was literally so dumb he had no idea what was going on. He was tricked into admitting something he didn't do and then no one listen when he tried telling the truth
The whole case seemed to bizarre to be true, and honestly I just thought it was sad.
The poor and the stupid have no chance of fighting the far reaching powers of the law, who can find you guilty regardless of the truth (but really, who...

>His nephew is such a fucking retarded
FTFY. He was literally mentally handicapped. He didn't even know what he was doing, he just wanted to watch fucking wrestling. The biggest scumbag is his original lawyer. That four eyed jew fuck with the shit eating grin
Did you like it?
Yes.
yes.

Do you think he'll ever get his reality TV career back?
>>67064167
Fuck off.
He's currently the top reality TV star in the world. What are you talking about?
>>67064167
If you want to talk about Trump go to /pol/ or even /b/.
I am a Trump supporter and don't want to see a Trump thread here.
I just want to shitpost about movies and tv.
Is sci fi horror the most patrician of genres?
ummmm source? >>67063967
also the genre has a lot of potential, but videogames have realized it better than film so far. Event horizon notwithstanding
>>67063967
Film adaptations of stage plays is the most patrician genre
>>67064153

"Hey anon, why aren't you enjoying the outdoors like us but instead watching YIFY rip of capeshit in your darkened room?"
>>67063963
No friends outdoors.
Watching capeshit in my dark room is comfier
>>67063963
you know how much effort that shit takes?
Why was the funding for the promotion of this movie flatlined after initial screenings?
>>67063431
because documentaries are boring
>>67063431
It's a relatively uninteresting concept made specifically to appeal to the 13-17 demographic that thinks they're smarter than everyone else.
>hurr durr, idiocracy is happening fur realsz
>look how smart i am compared to the sheeple
>hurrrrrrrr

Because it was movie that produced to fulfill a contract. Anyone saying it's because it's mediocre is wrong. Mike Judge didn't want to do it and you can tell.
Does anybody else wish Marvel had made this? It feel like there's too much "movie" and not enough action
(USER WAS EXPOSED AS A FUCKING RETARD FOR THIS POST)
>>67063375
why would marvel studios adapt a dc property?
>It feel like there's too much "movie" and not enough action
if that's not bait, you're retarded
Film major here. Still love movies, but for whatever reason I can barely stomach television anymore.
Even the best shows are nearly half filler. Every show has a handful of boring characters that go nowhere. Network shows can't show vulgarity, but HBO shows seem to almost rely on it. I just don't see the artistic merit in television these days.
I do agree that a lot of movies suck, too. But if you sit through a bad movie, that's 2 hours of your life. A show can waste anywhere from a day to the better part of the year.
What show will...

same exact problem here
i feel like with tv we're led to making a bigger investment and it always ends up getting betrayed
no thanks
It's not just you. Television isn't what it was in the 90s. We're in a kind of cultural dark age or something. I don't know if and when we'll recover.
>>67063287
Just rewatch The Sopranos or Mad Men again.
Why is this so good, /tv/?
Could a remake work?
Will Spielberg ever go back to horror?
>>67063171
Directed by Micheal bay starting Ryan Reynolds, mark ruffalo and ken watanabe
>>67063171
>Will Spielberg ever go back to horror?
What wasKingdom of the Crystal Skull?
It really is great.
>mfw have a personal kooky take on the movie where you can read it as a kinda Dungeons and Dragons tale transposed to a modern setting. A monster is attacking villagers and the town guardsman has to rise up to defend the village. He is aided by a curious bearded sort with arcane, esoteric methods and knowledge (literally a wizard) and the grizzled old monster hunter who hangs out at the tavern.
>mfw Bryan Fuller creates a Star Trek show that combines the best elements from both DS9 and TNG
>>67063142
God I hope you're right OP
That show already happened. It was called Battlestar Galactica.
>>67063257
crappy show
Did Bunuel hate the lower class?
No, he was a commie
>>67062981
All commies hate the lower class and see them as useful idiots to be exploited for the sake of revolution.
>>67063007
>useful idiots
nice meme, good way to tell you're talking to someone with an internet "education"
