Whether or not you liked it and whether or not it is a good movie, you have to acknowledge how many people criticize it. Can we have a serious discussion on how it actually happened that review sites so overwhelmingly show it praise? Were these reviews really plausible when almost every non-starwars film-related forum has huge amounts of people (quite possibly a majority) who vehemently criticize it?

I liked the movie overall but I think my favourite sequence was probably the very opening scene which was incredibly beautifully shot and well-done
Snyder has better opening sequences than basically any other director working
the opening sequences in Watchmen and Sucker Punch are also god-tier
