Naw, it reflects the ISS better then anything else. The biggest advantage of space exploration now more then ever is unity of cultures. This is opposed to the space race of nationalism before.
It's not a coincidence it can even be blamed on Star Trek in part. When Myrcella dies of obvious poisoning just minutes after being kissed by a woman known to murder people by poisoning them, why don't they just turn around, go back to the dock and reveal her? I mean they were still in the harbor. Is sailing all the way to Kings Landing and then sending a raven really the best way? Especially since you already know Doran is on your side and is inches away from executing the Sand Snakes anyway.
Was Trystane on the same boat as Jaime and Myrcella? I don't remember if he was at the good bye on the dock and got on the boat or not. But if he was on the same boat, was he just chilling in the King's Landing harbor? Did he take up residence on a house boat? The boat had already arrived in King's Landing and been unloaded, so why was he still on it? And if he's just on a boat in King's Landing, why would the Sand Snakes want to sail to enemy territory, sneak on a boat, and kill a protected guest whose wife was just murdered? Seems like a shaky plan to me.
