I haven't watched a single episode of this series. Normies at work keep telling me this is the best series ever made, yet I keep correcting them that The Sopranos is the GOAT series.
Are they right? The more normies love this series, the more I lose interest in actually watching it.
First couple seasons are pretty good, but you will hate yourself when it nosedives and you care enough about the story to want to watch it anyways.

I think it's fine for films to make you think hard, but the problem with the second half of the movie is the directing. It just isn't explained enough. There's a difference in not dumbing down the techno-babble that the main characters use to talk most of their dialogue and just not properly explaining what the fuck is going on and saying "lol didn't dumb it down."
Honestly look it up and get a thorough explanation, because the problems came in the directing not the writing.

If you go back and watch the first time it was spoken in the first Terminator film, however, there's nothing special about it. It wasn't delivered at the climax of the film like "Hasta la Vista" in T2. Unlike subsequent uses of the lines in later films, it also wasn't used as something badass to say before doing something cool. It also doesn't have that inherent cool factor like "Come with me if you want to live"
