THA SOIZE OVA TANGERINE
Why doesn't Recess get the credit it deserves? Was it just not as popular as the other shows who get the nostalgia treatment?
It had a great cast of characters and was well ahead of it's time.
I was one of the kids without cable, lived in a rural area, and struggled to get ABC which was channel 2 in my area.
I would try to tune into this shit every saturday morning, and some days I'd get lucky.
It always felt like a treat, I loved it back then, but I've not returned and honestly watched it like a few other shows from my childhood.
Maybe I should, just for the hell of it.
>>70593513

Ceaseless existential angst, intermittently relieved by sexual release.
Also, occasionally getting vaguely painful pimples on your buttcheeks or earlobes or other intensely annoying places.

Meanwhile on Bear Island...

>"i care not for some night king i have troubles of my own you know, we've run out of cookies and milk, there is a severe deficit" :(
I don't need an army, I need 62 good men.
Do you think she committed suicide?
I think so because the film makes it clear that this old man, with nothing to live for, waits for a bus line that has been discontinued.
In the final shot we see her board an empty bus, the same bus that took the old man away.
Yes I think she offed herself. There was nothing for her left to hope for in her city , plus it felt like she had spent her hope deposits.
Her last grasp for life was the suggestion to the guy to leave everything and run away.

Gotta say, was surprised at how well I received this film. Could relate to Enid in the sense of not knowing what to do with yourself, and trying to find your own place. It was eerie at how close to home it hit.
she spends the entire movie hoping for something that's never going to come again (life like it was like in high school), so at the end she stops hoping and moves on. The old senile guy only had death ahead of him, she had life. Etc.
its awkward, but that's what happens when you make a movie out of an auto-biographical comic.
I was legit moved to tears in many parts and loved it until babby Ashton choked himself to death in the womb, WTF, made me do a spit take, from laughing.
I don't know, the ending kinda made the whole movie stupid for me, too many scenes unintentional hilarity.
Also crackwhore looked just like Sweet Dee
choking himself is an alternate ending.
you did it to yourself fegget

sorry, saw the Directors Cut, what was the original end?
