The studios get a far smaller % of the gross from overseas, especially so for China. If a film needs to make 2x to break even in the US it needs to make ~6x from China.

It seems to me that if you were the writers of pretty much the biggest show in the world right now, that you would spend every waking moment making it the absolute best and most entertaining show you could. Yet none of the characters have moved. Everyone is exactly where they were at the beginning of last season. What is wrong with these people? Have they just spread the story too thin? 5 minutes here and there with each plot line and often not seeing plot lines for episodes at a time is fucking amazingly bad story telling.
Convinced they have no idea what to do with any character week to week.

The critics were wrong again. Another great film.
Only promblem is they focused to much on the humans, and not enough on the orcs. Probably because there was not enough time. I hope we get to see a director's cut of this.
Overall, it was pretty accurate to the games/novels, with minor changes to suit the films needs. My only complains about that was Orgrim being a Frostwolf and Dalaran flying. Behinds that, everything was perfect.
Acting was spot on. Gul'dan was a beast. Blackhand was as well, but more respecting of the old traditions. Medivh was goat. Lothar was the best character in the film. He had such a charm to him, the way he and Khadgar acted with each other, you can tell they were good friends.
Doomhammer's betray was done well. I can't wait to see him in the next film, as Gul'dan's general to replace Blackhand.
Stormwind wasn't destroyed as I predicted, but maybe they are saving that for the next film.

Tons of screwball comedies. Bringing Up Baby for example. Many Woody Allen features as well. I don't know really because romcom makes me think of cheesy, forgettable romantic comedies starring two B+/A- leads.
