General rules:
There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.
Write-ins for all votes or always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.
Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as it comes up.
Combat involves rolls! Once there's a clear winner, we roll for the move accuracy/crit/secondary effect. Usually it's just three 1d100s. Sometimes you can get a modifier from circumstances, so be creative! Add flair, do tricks with moves, mess with terrain, whatever!
Call me out on a mistake and receive an apology butt or suggestive picture.

You and Devon relax after learning Sludge Bomb. He eagerly drinks up his water bowl as you sip a juicebox.
Clair grabs your towel from off your shoulders and whips you with it.
“What the f-”
You see that girl that was with the merchants you got a ride from in the desert. What’s her name... umm...
“Shan-Li,” Clair helps. “And she’s not alone.”
Clair and Vance’s parents, the royal family, professor Fir, and...Sato, the Chloroville Grass type gym leader!
“W-what’s everyone doing here?” Few things make you stutter like Robin, but this qualifies.
Clair takes your juicebox and sips it, scrunches her face at your choice of flavor, but doesn't give it back. “Well, Robin was taking a break outside the training building, then someone came and asked for an autograph, then a crowd formed.”
“When did that happen?” You wrestle back your juicebox.
“A few hours ago. Vance and Jeanine got Robin back inside and told her to train. But the crowd didn't go away. You two are popular, I guess. We didn’t want to distract you. Vance let in his parents, then a few others,” she grabs for the juice.
They come over and say hi. You spend a short amount of time wishing you luck and offering advice. But the person whose words really gets through to you is...
>Shan-Li, naive but perceptive
>Sato, old and wise
>Vance’s parents, normal people

We seemed to catch a weird time for most people yesterday. So, I figure we'll try again today. Forgive an extra long series of opening posts, as I catch up on about a half thread that was voted on but not archived yesterday.

Life is stranger than fiction.
“Gah, watch where you’re poking those fingers!”
So sayeth the bard, Ptolomous Rye.
“Quit yer cursin’, lass. The sooner we get it done with, the better. And to get it done properly, it has to be –tight-.”
“SSSSSssssss!!!”
And thus it is the bard’s noblest venture in life to experience his life to its utmost, to draw from its vast and limitless pool of possible experiences and to share but a glimpse of them, a piece of the truth of all creation with the common and not so common man his performances touch.
“Get her legs, lad! No, not her legs, the wobbly bit what looks like a snake’s arse! And for the love of Orren, mind yar fangs.’”
Life is stranger indeed, and by some mischief of the gods, you’ve been granted a chance to experience more of it after your natural time has passed. To feel the wind upon your brow once more, to breathe deep of life's peculiar perfume and feel its taste upon your.... Oh, wait…
>>46737759
Well, no one ever said that life was 100% kind or just, but as you stand here holding a thrashing gorgon’s midsection to a makeshift operating table, feeling your bones groan in protest as the crazed cleric bandages her wounds, you can at least say that Ptolomous was not wrong. Life was definitely strange, and only bound to get stranger given your new… “condition”.
You are Lee: bard, lover, fighter, and more recently numbered among the walking dead. After being forcibly torn from the glorious twilight of the afterlife, you awoke in the recesses of a dungeon with a lot on your mind and not a lot of meat on your bones (none to be precise). At least before you had a chance to sink into the distraction such a rude awakening could impose, you found yourself swept up in the heat of some fast paced action, falling in line with your skeletal brethren to fend off an invasion of some sort.
You livened their pace with a bit of rhythm, put some life into those old bones and with a little brute force, a little bit of luck, and a charming musical number then managed to turn the entire ensuing conflict on its head, saving the life of a mother gorgon and possibly three adventurers in the process. Now you are here, trying to help patch up the damages already inflicted by the time you arrived, not to mention keep the nice snake lady from biting the kindly priest’s head off. And as the frankly ludicrous amount of anesthetic she’d been given kicks in, it gets decidedly easier.
As her breathing slows, and her eyes glaze over, you can finally give your aching back a rest, snapping the vertebrae back in place with a satisfying crack. That just leaves you, a skeleton, and a man of the cloth sitting by each other with nothing but hundreds of pounds of snake and a thick silence between you.
>>46737788
“So, Father…” you start, your attempts to clear your throat sending an awkward rattling down through your rib cage. “You seem to be somewhat well at ease for a man surrounded by skeletons. I mean, not that I mind when you keeping your head on straight means I get to keep mine, but could such a thing really be true? Did the dungeon bring me back? I’d ask my fair lady here, but…”
“Sssss…” she sighs softly, tail tip twitching in time with her breathing as she sinks onto the table.
“Well,” he says with a sigh, hands continuing to double check his stitching and snug the bandages around the unconscious gorgon. “I reckon I can’t be too sure what’s what till I’ve had a crack at one of you bone heads meself.”
“At the very least,” he says, when you raise a finger to interject. “I can say it ain’t necromancy. Bones don’t tend to get back up after a healthy dose of holy fire, you know. That, and it ain’t exactly unheard of. Every daft bastard and his father’s father’s evil uncle what built these sorts of places had a different means of arming ‘em to the teeth. Been plenty of cases of skeletons being brought back as something other than skeletons. Never heard of a talking one though.”
>>46737823
“I assure you, I can do more than just talk. Singing, playing, composition, and a bit of dance for that theater flare. All I need to do is hunt down a few of my new clattering acquaintances who can carry a tune. Next thing you know, I’ll have a proper band back together again.
“Oh, right, my apologies for not introducing myself. The name’s Lee, formerly a traveling entertainer before my recent resurrection from an unknown stint as a cadaver.”
“Yeah, well, pleased to make yer acquaintance, I suppose,” remarks the cleric, offering a hand. “But before you go terrorizin’ the local country side as a band of travelin’, music playin’ spooks, could you hand me the holy water from the bag?” You flinch. “Ah, nay. Don’t give me that look. The Church of Orren keeps fire water in their holy water. Good for disinfecting and the like. Just need a dab here or there for the lass and she’ll be all cleaned up.”
“Ah, then of course,” you say, rattling away your concerns, and without further delay go fishing for the requested vial.
An ornate bottle quickly comes to hand, filled with a clear liquid and capped with a silv-
The sea of light is calling you, warm to the touch and wondrously vacuous. You stare into that cavalcade of white and finally let your eyes relax. You are home. You are s-
“You feelin’ alright,” asks the cleric, snatching the vial from your hand before pouring some on a rag. With a bit of passing concern, you note white smoke arising from your bones where it had just resided.

The Battle of the Kuri was, by all accounts, a particularly impressive one. The single greatest natural barrier that the local land had to offer and one given time to be fortified no less. It should have been able to deflect any army, blunt any advance. And when supported with the arcane power of an alchemist corps and not one but two wizards, it should have provided a barrier that not even the rumoured magic of the “Witch Queen” should have been able to break.
But victory for the Queen had come regardless and it was not off the back of some grand strategy or scheme. That would have been demoralising enough. But to push through such a situation off the back of nothing but pure magical might? That is far more intimidating. Already, distorted stories and exaggerated fabrications spread back throughout the land and incite more fear and unwitting respect than any of the Queen’s attempted propaganda. The Witch of Melire was as strong as ten men, they cried, with skin like iron and eyes like fire. She could take any form and when she gave the word, the great river itself had risen up to smite her enemies. She could eat free will, strike fear into hundreds, incinerate an entire company of knights and bore no fewer than three plundered wizard’s staves.
Regardless of whoever ultimately wins, the battle itself was sure to be remembered in a hundred different history books, each no doubt with their own unique version of events.
But as surprising as the battle may have been, it alone may not promise the Witch Queen’s overall victory. The fate of that may lie in the hands of someone who wasn’t even present for the battle itself.

You adjust your poncho as you approach the city of Taldenral. Best to keep your sword hidden after all. The city looks like more of an ant’s nest than normal, people scurrying left and right. That can be made to work in your advantage.

Your name is Oster or Many-Faced Oster though you have never cared for the title. It’s much too dramatic but the old Serpent King gave it you personally so now it carries just a little tinge of wistful sentimental value. You are here to kill the King of Teleran.
You are here to repay High King Edwin’s attempt on your Queen’s life and to recover at least a shred of your professional pride. You will kill the King or you will die trying. You have no help, no potions, nothing but mask and sword. Most probably wouldn’t understand but it has to be you and only you.
>Enter the city normally. No need to get tricky just yet.
>Disguise yourself amidst the people seeking refuge from the Queen’s advance.

Hello, and welcome to Alderaan Guard Quest. Before I start, I'd like to lay down some ground rules.
>The setting primarily takes place in the new canon
I will admit that alot of EU stuff will be reintroduced slowly in this quest, but until otherwise stated, consider all of the EU non-canon. Furthermore the EU elements might be retooled and different, so don't go screaming "not muh EU".
>Write-ins are allowed and encouraged
I don't want your choices to be restricted, but I will throw out your write-in if its completely pants on head retarded. Also I apologize, as this leads to longer time between replies. Such is the cost of freedom.
Now that it's settled, let us begin .

This is a quest set in the world of Wildblow's "Worm" web serial, in which heroes and villains battle for the fate of the city, and for street-level drug feuds.
We follow James Case, a young man with newly discovered powers…
~
Alright family, in addition to Money, I’m going to start tracking Frustration. Frustration will affect the outcome of certain rolls/decisions, depending on whether it’s high or low (use common sense to figure out which).
CURRENT MONEY:
CURRENT FRUSTRATION:
~
You had handed a blue five dollar bill to a tough looking bouncer, following your friends through an inconspicuous door on a sidestreet in The Bricks. A set of descending stairs and a dirty, poorly lit hallway later, you pushed through another guarded set of double doors.
The club is loud, a vivid painting in dizzying colours, frenetic sound and sultry darkness. What appears to once have been a factory of some sort has been repurposed: the production machinery on the factory floor has been stripped away in favour of stripped down machinery of a different sort, a sweaty heaving mass of ecstasy and abandonment. Catwalks and platforms above create a spiderweb gallery; you see figures drinking, laughing, conversing, and doing just about everything else in the shadows above. At the centre of the cavernous club, a DJ’s booth has been built across two parallel catwalks, festooned with subwoofers and flashing lights.
>>46736862
You follow your friends through the crush of gyrating bodies, plowing towards a foreman’s office that has been repurposed as bar. Gordo counts your party up on his fingers, MeClarkLukeSammyMarcieJamesSarahJason, eight all told.
“Eight bearfuckers!” Gordo shouts, almost face to face with the swamped bartender. Clark visibly groans. Gordo turns, clasps you on the shoulder with one hand, swaying only slightly, “first round’s on me!”
The bartender disappears behind a shroud of waving hands, waving bills, waving glasses. A moment later and he returns, swiftly sliding eight shots into a row along the beer-slick countertop. Gordo stuffs a pair of crumpled twenties into the outstretched hand, and hands you your share of the loot. The golden brown liquid briefly catches the neon light: a dazzling interplay of colour and reflection that disappears in an instant.
“One! Two! Three!”
You toss the shot back and almost spit it back out just as quickly. It burns far more than a regular shot should; you see a few members of your group splutter and grimace just as you had. One-fifty-one probably, Gordo you cheeky bastard. You slam the empty glass back onto the bar and follow Gordo, Clark and the others into the fray.
>Cut the fuck loose, spending 35$ to reduce Frustration by 1.
>Focus on hanging out with your friends, spending 20$ to build relationship with everyone present.
>Try your luck, spending 35$ for a 50/50 chance of either decreasing Frustration by 2 or raising it by 1.

The sea! What oceanic stuff have you done. Boats, fish, fights, mollusks, islands, spirits. Anyone managed to punch Siakal in her stupid face?
>>46736403
Haven't done much with ocean stuff. Always wanted to play a pirate king kind of game though.
My wife wants to play an exalt raised by squid though.

>Anyone managed to punch Siakal in her stupid face?
Maybe in some other campaign. My current Zenith was actually initiated into sorcery by Siakal, and sends her regular sacrifices, so she's pretty grateful to the goddess.
The only thing an Eclipse can best all others at, Sailing!
So uh, I wanna build a setting based on Eastern European history and folklore but I'm not sure how to capture the spirit of it.
Northern european fantasy is easy enough with its gloomy yet nobledark themes of courage in the face of doom and humans trying to transcend their primitive urges. The fantastic background is familiar what with its fair folk/elves, trolls, dragons, draugr, krakens, magical swords, mysterious western lands, etc.
As for eastern europe I got nuffin but vampires, werewolves, and stereotypical cynicism.

Yuuup. Her death was the outcome of the Primordial War, and something instrumental in keeping the Yozi/Demon Princes imprisoned... a containment that may or may not be shattered by that.
On the bright side, it'd somewhat restore the King of Hell, and make him lots and lots better, if still a bit of a jerk. Mostly that seems to just be arrogance through, not actual malevolence like he acts after the Exalted got done lobotomizing him.
Basically the entirety of Malfeas would just stop and stare as the landscape transforms back into the original energy being form, of the YHVH-expy Theion. He and Ligier would propably love you forever, considering her tomb is /still/ sacred ground with regular mourning, even after he's been a hateful monster bent on destruction for 5000 years.
The rest of the Yozi would probably start bugging/squashing/murdering you or doing shit like sending you awesome/horrible dreams, until you help them too. Theion might help with getting them back in line now that he's back to being an actual King worthy of the name through, especially considering the aforementioned loving you.
All of the other factions would collectively shit their pants at it through. All of them.
