Hero extraordinaire, and failing student Dash Addams is forced into summer school. There, he tries and fails to fix a fan, before getting sucked out into a freaky black void through the window.
Upon waking in a desert, he and his new companion met two fuzzy balls with faces, fought a yeti, made said yeti taste the lightning and visited the beach.
With clues on where to find his missing teacher, his small group set out towards Tubetown, only to find an aggravated giant cactus standing in their way…
Now, on with the adventure!
The giant cactus towers over your group, arms and legs cascading loose sand down around you. “Did you just try to eat me?” It demands indignantly.
Casey lets out a nervous laugh, holding his hands up placatingly. “Now, now… My fuzzy friend here, he just thought you were one of those maple leaf cactuses, he didn’t know you were a person.”
It’s eyes narrow dangerously. “They’ve been eating from MY maple cacti?” It growls. “They only bloom once in their whole lifetime! That’s the only food I have out here!”
This is going poorly. On the other hand, the cactus is focusing on your hoodie wearing companion and the helmeted Digimon, not you nor Elecmon. You get the evolved Digimon’s attention, “Hey? Elecmon, you’re not really in any shape to fight right now, are you?”
He catches your eye, shaking his head, “I still have some fuel in the tank left to fight, but not enough to challenge a Togemon, it’s digivolved even further than I have, it’s on a whole other level. Even that Mojyamon I fought earlier was far stronger than me, save for the heat draining it’s strength.”

Sweat trickles down your face as you move through the early morning light, only to be trapped within the confines of your gas mask. For others this would be a constant annoyance but not for you. The mask is like a second skin to you, the side effects of which so fargone now that you've long only took slight note. Still, it's early morning and the day is already heating up like this. You know it's going to be a busy day even beyond the task at hand.
If you looked up, you're sure you'd see a breathtaking vista of the hilly Purgaran countryside tinted a brilliant shade similar to the meat of a blood orange. A poet would have a field day with Purgare, all contrasts of life and death. Ash fields and steam vents from the old volcano and the Reaper's Blow lay somewhere out there, usually too far from here to be too much of a bother beyond how they color the atmosphere. Not today, though.
Your eyes are trained on the cloud of mosquitos swarming around you, trying to find a vulnerable spot in your suit, buzzing incessantly when they find one as if frustrated before moving onto others in the vain hope of something better in the craggy attempt to shield themselves with dried mud and ash. They aren't as well-equipped as you, but you've been among them long enough that they've begun to take basic precautions even without your suggestion.

For the most part, though, the mosquitos aren't your concern. They're unqieldy at best and seem to be only looking for a blood meal. The thing that has your attention is the movement of the other arthropods. Ticks and bedbugs scurry across the ground, heedless of light in neat little rows as if they were ants. Around you fleas jump in a singular direction. Your mollusk twitches weakly in its prison atop your splayer. Not that you'd need it to read the signs right now.
It's fascinating, really. No one really knows at this moment how they do it, but the control's so absolute over them that you can't help but admire it from a sick perspective.
Your thoughts consume you for a time as you read the signs that you almost retaliate violently when someone touches your shoulder. "What is it," you snap, perhaps too harsh considering your own complacency.
It's a young woman, sun-tanned and smiling in a way that's condescending. She wears simle armor with a stylized Baptist cross set upon the pauldrons. "Watch where you step, doctor. I think we're close..."

Logia, the Ishvara That Is Not. The Ishvara that embodies the fact that she is not an Ishvara, and in so, understood how she could embodies this already true story in a very weird self-referential way.
The only way to defeat her was to create a story strong enough to portent her creation into an Ishvara, thus denying her existence by ensuring she would exist. It involved summoning demons to steal some of her attributes and hiding them in Malfeas, forcing her to save Creation if she wanted to get them back.

Yeah, they're sort of muddled there between it being an innate trick or something you learn. If each Thaumaturge has "an instinct for a single mystic ritual", then why is there an experience cost associated with learning them?
Personally, I'd be happy saying that a given Thaumaturge can learn some number of rituals, but not all of them, and not necessarily the one that the nearest Thaumaturge can teach them. Presumably would-be mentor Thaumaturges can recognise people with the talent required for their specific trick. And naturally, if you're an Exalt with Terrestrial Circle Sorcery then you get to learn all of them because your free Thaumaturgy talent works like a swiss army knife.

Hey guys, I recently found my Space Hulk set, and thinking about it, I think it could make for an interesting Zone Mortalis board, but I'm not sure. How wide are the alleys and stuff for the Zone Mortalis set? They look like they could fit two minis side by side so the Space Hulk set could be too small.
About four years ago, my mother's car got attacked by some kind of superpowered freak. It put my mother in a coma for a good while, and she's been hospitalized ever since.
Now you'd THINK that the cops would be interested in pursuing someone who would and CAN punch cars into oblivion, but pretty everyone I told about what happened laughed in my face.
The only person who actually DID believe me is a girl I met in the park the night after the accident... and thanks to her, now I have my own powers.
With my mother's improved condition and Lorelei's sudden arrival in town, it seems like my luck's finally starting to turn around. I guess getting up this morning was worth it after all.
