Aldo won the last fight, one of the p4p greatest of all time, and his loss was a flash where we really didn't see if he was outclassed or not.
It was clear that Conor was balls deep in Aldo's head and he fought emotionally and charged straight into a counter striker. He also didn't take Conor very seriously.
What happened tonight was the opposite. Aldo was emotionless and didn't take any risks whatsoever. Clearly hungry to get his belt back from Conor and was obviously 3-4 levels above Frankie. Frankie was completely picked apart tonight and looked better than Conor when he fought Mendes.

Dillashaw is obviously the better fighter now but Assuncao is coming off a long layoff. That fight proved they're both clearly top 3-5 in the division. I never really thought much about assuncao until dillashaw won the title but now everyone's going to have to consider the people they faced in regards to rankings. Dillashaw clearly won that fight but assuncao fought as well as a person who lost 30-27 could to the #2 in the division. So i'm curious what they'll do next in that division. The options are as light as the fighters themselves there.

There are some difference between the 2, they're not exactly clones. Its like saying Rye and Ken are boring clones in streetfighter, you play after awhile and you realize that Ryu has the fireballs and Ken has the uppercuts
TJ has something that does stick out a lot that makes him more unique and its his damn get ups, even Cruz dont have the fast getups like TJ, Cruz has other scrambling aspects to him though. And honestly i think Cruz is more of a submission grappler (he will take the time to fish for a sub( where as TJ is a scrambling, get up and brawl grappler , he doesnt take that much time on the ground and prefers to get up and strike
