Brooks Robinson is probably the worst of the bunch. Brett and Chipper are about the same. Brett played better D and had the best season of the 2 but Chipper hit for more power and was the more consistent hitter throughout his career. Even when Chipper was 40 with 2 bad legs he was walking more than he was striking out which is pretty ridiculous. If Chipper had that one huge "fuck you I'm the best" season people would more properly rank him. Boggs is probably better than both of them. It's Schmidt > Mathews > Boggs for the top 3.
