-9 is 150 to 180, which is the difference between a very good player (150-165) and a world-class player (175+). Given how PA scales, a -8 can be better than a -9 in a save, nevermind being played, receiving proper training, not having injuries... So it's not that it's good or bad, it just depends on your save. And of course, unless you just dig into the game with FMRTE you don't notice that kind of imperfection in the system, and it doesn't matter that much since it's rare for players to reach their PA anyway. I've only seen in my various saves Robben ONCE being 180CA/180PA in FM15. And he has a shit right foot while basically no world-class players besides him in advanced midfield positions or strikers have a second foot rating lower than roughly between 11 and 13/20.

Except it can be both. The star rating, even with 20/20 JPA/P depends of your team. You can have a -9 player who won't be rated more than 2.5 stars even by Arsenal's GOAT scouting team.

It is accurate for the most part, even with 20/20 scouts/AssMan. It's just that they also evaluate their chances to play, their overall ability to improve (prof/ambition), their age, so on so forth.

It's FM12. To sum it up, he's 85CA but -9PA. Very good. Arse's scouts (20/20) say he's shit and he's 1 star in terms of potential (Arse's main squad is between 2.5 and 3.5CA besides one exception). Relative to Arse, it's 100% true: because of his very low CA (and/or that he's 18), he won't play, so he won't develop. You'd have to play him in the junior teams, loan him out and perhaps he'll fix a part of the gap. Considering he's 18, that's tough but fair.
Now if he's sent to a French D3 side, he'd be decent (the assman and scouts are doped to 20/20 jsut for the experiment). Not good enough to be more than a rotational player due to his CA but since it's D3 he's gonna play at some point. And yet, his star potential is no more than 3.5 stars from what I gather (since there are no pictures). So still far from being a very good player (160CA+).
In short, your AssMan if he's 20/20 is right. Even if the player has -9.5PA.

I'm hesitant regarding these. The issue is that the weather isn't quite uniform all over the country: in Triglav, it can be -10°C on home games in December-January, but I can then play an away game at 10°C. And for those who complain that weather don't affect injuries, my injuries skyrocket during winter at these kind of temperatures (like during the last games of the group phases of Europa League) so much it's not even funny.

DLF/AF seems like the most straightforward combination most of the time, the problem with using a TM is that FM thinks it means you want your players to hoof it down the field constantly. even at semi-pro levels you're often better off holding onto the ball

Well all the Yugo competitions and the country itself is already in the db (as well as USSR, no kidding). So all what's linked to league history, past winners and all that crap is in there; you just have to activate it, put some rules on it and you're done. Creating a league system from the ground up is more complicated, nevermind if the country isn't supposed to have one or doesn't exist (/trb/ese db for instance).

Dude, if you followed the previous threads I fixed those rules and played countless saves on it just to make sure it works. It does.
The only thing is that I had a extremely rare pepe bug that affects both official and user dbs since FM12 (nice job Miles): fixtures not generating for the top divisions after adding lower leagues to the system. It sorts itself out if you wait for a year. And it's never an issue if you add those lower leagues from the beginning. However there are 4 D3 conferences and 6 for D4, so you'd need a decent PC if you want these leagues.
Outside of Miles not doing his homework, there are no issues. C'mon, just try it.

I didn't come till after 2 seasons, but have had Lanzini before and he's a solid squad player. My experience of their other players is that Sakho is not very good and should be sold if you can get over £10m, Cresswell is great and Enner should also be sold if you can get decent money
