Well the majority of the games I played with my "B side", the last games I played my first side and score a decent amount of goals, even that 1 draw was with a rotated squad.
From Domzale onwards I'm pretty much playing my first squad, so it's getting a lot better. Like I said, Celje was played with the rotated squad again and that was a draw again.

Also, YELL at your players if they're doing badly. Aggressive or Assertive. Even if you're just 1-0 up, YELL at those fuckers until they have a safe lead and they stop fucking about.

mate, I wrote a long post about you last night and just as I was about to post, I lost my connection and did not get it back for hours so I just went to sleep.
I don't want to post the entire damn thing again but there were some things I wanted to say:
You are playing with an attacking mentality. This already means that your players position themselves high up the pitch and play wide.
Your instructions are totally overkill. You had "play much higher" on, turn that to "a bit higher" at most, or just turn it off completely. Also, play much wider is not a good idea with an attacking formation that has AMR/AML and two WB - you are already playing wide as fuck. The instruction does not even make you play through the wings, it just means you spread out more.
To add to that, WBa and "hit early crosses" does not go well together. WBa need you to build up your attack with an element of patience, you must not just hoof it into th e box because the WBa need a few seconds to push up gradually and be an additional attacker. Switch to "look for overlap" to make use of them.
Also, when you play WBa, you are weak to one thing: opponents exploiting the space between the WBa. What you want to prevent is your opponents spamming long balls to the wings immediately after winning the ball. You should try to press your opponent/close down more so that they cannot get off a long ball immediately, giving your WBa just enough time to track back.
If all of this does not work, try playing with two DM (one regista and one DMs).
There was also something about your player roles that I didnt like (particularly your AMC and your two MC) but I dont remember.

I'd recommend watching some games in extended or parts in full, to see what's actually going wrong.
The stats don't tell everything. For example, a key element of success in my team is how often they intercept the opponents passes, but that's poorly reflected in game stats (there are a variety of factors that can play into an opponent's pass completion %).
I realized by watching for a while that I had a key player who was a beast at intercepting passes when he was on, but when he was off he was a flaccid dick and the opponents were dictating the game. Eventually I realized that he was a hot and cold player and had too much impact on whether my tictac succeded or failed, so I sold him off and shelled out money for a more aggressive and reliable player in that position. Very little of that will show up intuitively in the stats.

but let me suggest one more thing: HSV are bad, quality wise you are in the bottom half of the league - and you are trying to use a very attacking formation with an attacking mentality.
attacking mentality does mean that your team is really trying to just kill of your opponent by long periods of constant pressure, like Bayern did against Juventus. how are your team going to do this against most teams of the league? In home games where you feel that you are the favorite, you can do control, but attacking is not the right mentality for you in my opinion.
what you should really try to do is to find something that can grind out results - play a defensive mentality away from home, and counter mentality at home. pick a formation that has its strengths in defending - something like a 4-1-4-1 with DM, a 4-2DM-2-2 or a 4-4-1-1.
I mean, think about your formation. You must think of AMR/AML as strikers, they do almost nothing in defence other than bully the full backs when they have the ball. your wings are pretty much wide open. can you imagine a shit tier side like, I dont know, Crystal Palace play with 3 players up front? because that is pretty much what you are doing.
seriously, try a more defensive formation (anything with two lines of four and one or two strikers), use attacking wingers on the flanks, tell your team to play more direct football and to pass into space and punish opponents on the break.
since your team is shit, most teams will try to play dominant football against you. you need to take advantage of that fact and exploit the spaces that they leave for you to break.

For every person that says this there is another who says how ridiculous it is that Accringotn Stanley have made it to the EPL and won it on their save.
Yeah some teams dominate hard but you have to remember they have to program a club with at least relatively accurate data at the time of making the game and its only logical to not program a club to take random nosedives but to most likely maintain a steady course with just a slight chance of random events (takeovers/crippling debt due to terrible management/fincial backing withdrawn) effecting them. I don't think its unreasonable for them to have programmed PSG to be a big European club on the rise with lots of money and a squad that can easily dominate Ligue 1 because that is exactly where they are right now.

My point is they are at a place right now where they have a massive, massive edge over the rest of the teams in the league and the game is programmed to be accurate for present day and to experience reasonable stability with just a few randomised ups and downs for a few teams since anything else will see a completely crazy world develop after just a small period of time.
